    Maybe the bracket goes between the clamps, sounds great. It's fairly plain in the photos on their website. The springs hold the mufflers on and the triable is a brace mounting to frame device.

    I bought these as I like the look but they are way loud like Harley shorty loud. With the db killers in its about normal aftermarket loud they will provide the killers if you ask for free but they say do not run them at high rpm (like dyno tuning) or you can over heat the mufflers. I have installed the killers however I think I might mod them to have supertrapps and see if that is a better way to deal with the heat. You should install try installing a bolt between the clamps as it does need a spacer I did this and I also spaced the front of the triangle mount it will clean up your installation a bit and is pretty easy to do

    The sound is missing that certain metalic mid range, you know.. that sound you get from longer pea shooter type exhaust. This is very low end grunt without finesse. Its ok but it isnt optimal.

  • @djgomaz1

    Pipes look great and would get some myself and I'm wondering with exhausts being a vital part of the running and performance of the bike have you noticed any differences on how the bike preforms as in before and after?
    Also wondering if you had to have the bike remapped by dealer as you have made changes?
    Great video and an honest review on all the issues while fitting your pipes and I hope the company who manufactures the pipes take note of your remarks after fitting.
    Thanks again

    • @StarManProduction
      @StarManProduction  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      You probably won't notice the bike be any faster or slower. Due to the short pipes and design of 2-2 exhaust, you'll have little back pressure. With little back pressure you'll notice the bike rev noticably faster, but you will also notice loss of low end torque. It's not a bad thing given this bike has tons of low torque to begin with, just something you'll notice due to the straight exhaust flow design.
      I did not tune my bike. At first the bike will run a little rough, but after a few miles riding, the stock ECU will learn the new air/exhaust flow and adjust accordingly. The bike will still run a little lean, but not at dangerous levels. In other words, tune is not required, but recommend if you want to benefit the most.
      A tune would probably be required if you modify the air box as well.

    Hey Starvin. I want to buy this exhaust for my 2020 NineT but I'm a little concerned about the DB at idle and at 2000 RPM. Our police have been randomly cracking down on noise and with it comes a hassle to defend. Any idea of the DB at idle? 2000RPM? I can't find anything online, and the last thing I want is to spend cash on something that's going to draw heat, costing me a lot more in fines and points. Thanks.

    on the rear bracket does the ... nut --- then one side of the bracket -- then the triangle - The other side of the bracket - then nut . hard to say it

    • @StarManProduction
      @StarManProduction  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The way I made it work was the two ends of the C-Clamp (that goes around the muffler) are under the triangle. The only thing that's above the triangle is a washer and nut.
      So, insert a washer on the screw first, then insert the screw from the bottom, into both holes of the C-Clamp, continue inserting the screw at the bottom of the triangle, as the screw comes out the top of the triangle, put another washer, and THEN put on the nut.

    • @StarManProduction
      @StarManProduction  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MichaelPickles I see what you mean. I tried that, could not get it to work that way because the top c-clamp was way off from the hole of the triangle (you almost need to bend the top C clamp to.make it work that way). Even then, it would push the triangle and touch the other muffler, making it impossible to align the other c-clamp.
      I spent 2 days trying every possibly combination (even with the email K-Speed sent me with their pictures), but it just wouldn't work. The way I showed in the video is the only was I was able to make it work. The triangle is just a bit too wide for a smooth install.

    • @StarManProduction
      @StarManProduction  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      So in the video I did say it "should fit - but to check first". Apparently the 2021s have a 3rd sensor towards the rear that I did know about when making this video, in which there is no place in this exhaust. Yes it'll bolt right up, but there's no place for that 3rd sensor for this exhaust.
      If you disconnect the sensor or just zip tie it, you may get a warning light which would then cause your bike to go into Limp Mode
