There's some nasty bugs around ...I live on the Isle of Wight and we've had an awful cold and cough doing the rounds. Several of my friends have gone down with it including me . I wish you well ...take plenty of rest and try not to over do things ❤️❤️❤️
You should not be walking around with the flu when older people are around. They can get it much worse than you. My father was hospitalized with flu twice-before Covid. Fortunately, he survived but it was close. Even if it’s just a cold, no one wants to catch it before Christmas.
I cought a head cold three months ago and it was terrible. I had to flu about 40 years ago, one and only, and I still remember how I felt. It had to happen !! Nothing that whisky and sugar and cloves in hot water can't fix ! I told a collegue to take this some years ago when she fell really ill and next day she turned up in great shape ! She had actually taken several glasses of this mix instead of the one I suggested, so she was on turbo drive all week ! Hugs xxx

You’re in good company. Here in Dallas I know of at least 8 family members with Covid , including my grandson who is visiting from Tennessee. So sad that he has to stay in his room.

Covid and flu are rampant in the US right now. When Amaury said he was so sick that he didn’t smoke, it reminded me of when I had the flu years ago. Please keep the elders of the family safe. Is there no more Covid testing, isolating, and masking when sick there? I hope you get well soon.
Im in the UK and one of my old school teachers died of covid last week and my brother got it this week.. its EVERYWHERE. and tests are hard to get now and arent free anymore. People got bored with being vigilant and as a consequence people are dying😡

Phillip's favorite flower in the bunch he brought home is purple Statice. After Christmas you can hang it upside down away from sunlight and it will dry beautifully for more bouquets! You can also grow it at LaLande. It's a cut-and-come-again plant, so the more you cut the stems, the more you get and it comes in an array of colors!

That was a very fun video! What would Christmas be without challenges and plans going awry. Teaches us to be humble and grateful for the blessings we do have. I for one am grateful for heat and power on our second day of brutal cold in the Midwest and now thankful for water as our well was frozen most of the day. Our Christmas prep has been overshadowed by fighting midwest arctic blast but we can still have The Joy of the season in our hearts!

You’re in good company. Here in Dallas I know of at least 8 family members with Covid , including my grandson who is visiting from Tennessee. So sad that he has to stay in his room.

An amazing coincidence: I looked up sure-fire behaviors that will make you sick and here are three of them--- which happen to be in the top ten. #1. Working outside in freezing temps wearing a t-shirt #2. Filming, editing, decorating and general multitasking until the wee hours of the morning day in and day out. Finally, the nail in the coughin’, #3. Engaging in rigorous travel marathons. Not that you or Amaury would ever be found guilty of such behavior. Covid and flu are rampant in the US right now. When Amaury said he was so sick that he didn’t smoke, it reminded me of when I had the flu years ago. Please keep the elders of the family safe. Is there no more Covid testing, isolating, and masking when sick there? I hope you get well soon.
Im in the UK and one of my old school teachers died of covid last week and my brother got it this week.. its EVERYWHERE. and tests are hard to get now and arent free anymore. People got bored with being vigilant and as a consequence people are dying😡

At some point we have to get back to normal and there will never be a time where there are zero covid deaths. Just like there's never gonna be a time where there are zero flu deaths which way more than you probably realize. I'm sorry you lost someone you knew but that person could've just as easily died from the flu. Would you be as angry at people for not wearing masks etc to prevent the flu?

I am fully aware that many people died of flu in the past. And no.. my friend was a fit and healthy person who worked out daily and would NOT have died of the normal types of flu that went around every year .. this has changed everything and the sooner people accept that, the sooner we can get this atrocity out of circulation, hopefully for good which will never happen as long as people like you carry on as if nothing happened

It's been proven that masks do VERY little to help! The CDC has also stated that they over stated covid deaths. Hospitals and doctors got kickbacks for every single death they listed as a covid death. They even listed a man that died from a motorcycle accident as a covid death because he just happened to test positive! He did NOT die from covid yet that's what they reported it as!! And now they're finding out the majority of people dying are VACCINATED!! Also, hundreds of thousands of lives could've been saved if your lord Fauci and the FDA would've allowed people to use cheap and effective drugs! If you ask me Fauci should be in jail! His organization is the one that did research to make the covid germ more virulent and to see if it could pass from animals to humans. Boom! Guess we got our answers!! If people do nor observe the health guidelines to the letter we will as you said.. never master this. You are making the mistake of equating the expectation that vaccination provides immunity but this is not the case (and never has been) vaccines can only help to make us more resilient , but cannot make us immune, thats how a viral infection differs from a bacterial infection. I know that in all my life. nobody I personally know has died of seasonal flu, but within the space of 3 years just about everyone I personally know has lost more than 1 friend or family member to covid. Your with all that love and care for you so rest and let be! Life is too short to try and do everything! I’m iced in on Vancouver Island British Columbia canada. Cant even get to the shops. Gifts haven’t arrived due to icy conditions on roads and you know what? It is just a reminder to slow down and remember it’s not about all that! Family is all safe in their homes and we have warm drinks and food. Let go and just be! Health is everything ❤
I think that the weather is dreadful across Canada at the moment. It’s been pretty mild in Ontario this month, but now it’s miserable. Key is that people stay home, off the roads & hunker down safety at home. Fingers crossed that everyone’s power stays on🤞🍀🙏🏻🇨🇦
Last year I started chemotherapy a few days before Christmas, this year my parents have covid! 🎄

Phillip's favorite flower in the bunch he brought home is purple Statice. After Christmas you can hang it upside down away from sunlight and it will dry beautifully for more bouquets! You can also grow it at LaLande. It's a cut-and-come-again plant, so the more you cut the stems, the more you get and it comes in an array of colors!

That was a very fun video! What would Christmas be without challenges and plans going awry. Teaches us to be humble and grateful for the blessings we do have. I for one am grateful for heat and power on our second day of brutal cold in the Midwest and now thankful for water as our well was frozen most of the day. Our Christmas prep has been overshadowed by fighting midwest arctic blast but we can still have The Joy of the season in our hearts!
