such unfair world, by any standard, (after playing 25 years blues and rock) I think he is among top 3 players in the world. any of his improvisation on guitar can be a forever remembering solo of a hit rock/blues song. anytime he plays i cannot believe my ears and eyes. JUST BECAUSE HE IS NOT IN LA or NY.
First saw my Sonic blue S63 hanging on the wall at my local shop, but had never heard of Nash. Asked the clerk to take it down for a schwang, and was instant love, amazing in hand. Played it against a couple of Suhrs and high end Fenders, to make sure I wasn’t crazy, and kept coming back to it. It’s my #1, without question.
just came across this video, i think this guitar used to belong to me😂😂 it was truly a special guitar to me. one of my favourite strats. i got it because of gary moore's red strat
Nash's are nice...even as a pro set up partscaster as the story goes. All-In-One (AIO) out of California uses a similar model except they procure budget-minded guitars from Asia...and does a truly professional (Custom Shop?) grade set up that countless love....including fret work as needed....for well under $500. I ordered their Tele a few days ago. Would love to see you demo an AIO single coil.
Thanks for demonstrating this lovely guitar. I really enjoyed your playing and liked the tone a lot. Would you by any chance also know exactly which Lollar pickups are in that guitar (Blonde, Sixty-Four)?
I would love to discover more about your discography Jon. I own G&L Bluesboy and a Brian Moore, but I would love to get a Moon Guitars ST KADOMATSU-MODEL
HUGE FAN of 10" Radius Fender type guitars. But I do love the clarity of a 62 Strat and no Reissues are even close. Is this close to a 62 sound wise? To me, not quite as clear. Maybe this could be a dream come true? After winning the lottery first, of course. LOL Nice playing as usual Jon. And you're NEVER too loud! Not sure why Bill would use an Orange Drop when Mallory 150 Capacitors really shine and are CHEAPER! ODs are not refined enough at all, IMO.
With the front facing camera the body looks like a fiesta red, however, with the side view camera it looks almost like Ferrari red. Which is the closest colour in your opinion Jon? It sounds very good BTW, I especially like position 2!
I have plan to buy fender avri2 61, but this video makes me struggle…. Does nashs63 worth for money than avri2 61? Really need advise some say this nash are close enough to fender cs
@kevinmusso2397 snap! I also have a shoreline gold S-63 and a white Nash Tele with Fender Texas Special pickups, I bought them in about 2004 just after Nash started making these guitars and Relicing was was quite a new thing. I think i paid about US$ 1200 each shipped to Ireland from a music shop in San Diego. There were no logos on the headstocks. I know some people put old Fender decals on there and I must admit, even though the guitars are great, th Nashguitars decal looks pretty cheap.
Like the relic look, the fingerboard looks way to new, though I am sure it plays very well. I am not really a fan of the relic as well, For the price I would rather have modern custom strat. I also like the deep c and the new vmod II. But if you are really into the relic looks and sounds it produces, this really hits the spot on look and price.
A friend had a shop in Surry Hills Australia and had Nash guitars, they sat in his shop for years,,, there expensive. Fake player ware is a bit of a turn off. I wouldnt buy a new car with dents and scratches or a pair of shoes with holes in them. Just my 2 cents. GREAT PLAYING JOHN and your amazing.
I thought the same as you do, before I picked up a Nash S-57 with Lollar Dirty Blonde pickups and played it through a Morgan amp. The neck feel was exquisite. And the tone was better than any strat I had played. I kept coming back to the S57. So I ended up owning it! Since then I added a Free-Way 10 way switch for extra tonal flexibility, just for fun. The beefy neck means I never have to touch up the truss rod, and probably helps with the sustain.
Beautiful playing! But the aging of th guitar looks ridiculous! The wear pattern on the arm rest doesnt even come close to, where the arm rests! As well as the white undercoat. 😂

Hi Jonathan, very beautifully played intro…..rather orchestral like. What a ‘pearler’ of a guitar. Cheers 🎸🙏💜

Always tasteful and melodic, Jon.

Grazie Millie!!✌🏻❤️
A very nice sounding guitar, thanks for showing.
Glad you like it!
Jon is just TOO amazing!!
Thank you
I've been seriously thinking of picking one of these up. A lightly aged Olympic white would fit the bill nicely.
Nice
Love it Jon! Always so smoothe!
Thank you
Great job Jon. Very nice guitars from Nash, wonderful assembly...normal parts, Somebody knows what they're doing.
Yes they do

Not too sure..
what a tasty playing my friend
Thank you kindly
Really nice guitar, and playing. The signature is Bill Nash, incase no one else has mentioned it.
I did.. in the video
Could you check one day the Nash T72 tl? I think is the most beautiful telecaster with a semi-hollow body, and also, their wide range pickups
We’ll see

✌🏻❤️
The first song really like me Heart of the City - Guthrie Govan. Nice guitar, i have a Momose Mst1 std with that color and maple fb.
It’s the backing track
How do you like the Blonde Tone Master you have?
With the front facing camera the body looks like a fiesta red, however, with the side view camera it looks almost like Ferrari red.
Which is the closest colour in your opinion Jon?
It sounds very good BTW, I especially like position 2!
Its fiesta Red Andrew😊
May the Strat force be with you
✌🏻❤️
When do you give us an album brother!?
Don’t know ❤️❤️
Nice guitar.
Indeed it is!
I have plan to buy fender avri2 61, but this video makes me struggle…. Does nashs63 worth for money than avri2 61? Really need advise some say this nash are close enough to fender cs
Pretty close
@@JonIsJustTooLoud so in this, i assume s63 better than avri2 61 ?
I have to agree the best strat I've ever played is the Nash I own
thanks!
Chitarra fatta con semilavorati, suona bene ma costa troppo! Non è uno strumento custom come questa azienda vorrebbe far credere!❤️❤️❤️
✌🏻❤️

Thanks!
How on earth do you keep those single coils quiet?
Noise gate
I own a shoreline gold Nash S-63. It’s as good as it gets
Nice ✌🏻❤️

I feel Jon is in the top 3 guitarists in history. Yes, up there with Clapton/Hendrix.
Thank you...i'm not worthy...
Nice guitar, but even nicer playing!
Thanks!❤️❤️

Do you make your own backing tracks?
Not on this

I want my brand new guitar to look brand new. It's like buying new jeans with holes in them already.
Well me too
👍

✌🏻❤️
Yeah, let’s make yet another Strat copy…
Why not?
always drown in the playing😋
✌🏻❤️❤️❤️
Wow! All this for the price of a harley benton.😁
