You will see at the end a picture of myself,my wife and the man who built and runs this semi. Also are pictures of his wheels I hand polished that night. I've drove nothing but Internationals since 1982 my first was a1979 Transtar Eagle ll Cabover and right now I'm driving a 2015 Lonestar Day cab. But your International is just so damn classy I love it. Stay safe and keep the Hammer down 👇
I seen this truck in Knoxville, TN about a month ago. Still have the pics in my phone....I didn't know what it was and all the old heads I asked thought it was an old KDubb
That's one of those crazy shifters. I wonder if the chrome can shine up. The headlights ain't original ha, ha. I am driving an international company truck. It has come a long way. I like p on the hood to since that starts with my last name. Well be safe out in that jungle. I had road rage where I was at driving.
Yes sir I was parked next to him. We had a wonderful meet and visit for about 3 hrs. After he went to sleep at midnight I hand polished the wheels on his truck while he slept and got done about 6am he was nearly in tears at 930 when I got up he was still parked next to me waiting to give me a tip I refused but he insisted and told my wife if he doesn't take it you must. I'm looking forward to going through N.M and seeing all his other trucks he has collected.
@@deathrowtrucking really cool thing you did. To take that long too. I had a guy asking to clean my rims. I don't make much for that. He had been doing it for twenty years.
@Barrett Pickett I did it because he not only spoke to me and showed me his jewel he showed my wife several pictures of ya back in the day and how like was working horses. He did not have the he is better than you attitude or anything I helped him with a small light issue fix we went inside had some pie and tea and talked more. They 1 thing you realize is this man is 79 and still working and driving and he built this. This is someone who started this job many and many years ago. And it was a way I thought i could show thanks to him for his time.
Well show us what you built alone at 69 please. This is a 1955 international semi. He stretched the frame and replaced the sleeper with the 2 he put together. A B model cat engine 2 stick a 9 and 4 gear boxes Canadian spread. Peterbilt airbag suspension the dash was made from the Peterbilt relays Peterbilt center gauges kw speed and tack gauges and panel. D8 dozer guard and the visor is off a 65 Chevy car. She runs 120 plus and he gets 6 mpg. He has the pictures from start to finish he built this alone in 1 yr. And he makes bank with what he hauls with it. So take your hateful discrediting attitude somewhere else. And it was NOT a cement truck. Mr WRONG!!
@@deathrowtrucking No hate here friend. That should have been 2 sentences. lol Old Cement truck? Those aren't 1950's sleeper boxes. I was just trying to figure out how he got such a long frame truck from the 50's. Because they were around, cranes, oil rig strait trucks, etc. God Bless him, and his skills. I knew he mixed old and new, and I'm here for it. I'ld love to see the build pictures if you ever make a short video on that.

Also I apologize you were not there in person as he was showing it to my wife and I and going over everything as 2 fools who team drive a automatic walked up and in under 2 minutes started saying how the run 2 runs a week from NY to Florida in 4 days and then get 3 days off. Then said they knew that Truck did not ride as smooth as their Freighter (company truck) Several idiots who are jealous run loose these days. Again I apologize

Just curious, is the frame and suspension Peterbilt? I saw Peterbilt on the spring hanger.
I posted all the specs in a comment somewhere on here. International frame he stretched on the front and rear and Peterbilt suspension was added sir.

He has a queen size bed in it. Some storage and such but it is a flat top so it's not overly tall inside lol.
