Nice video but they are saying the first Mack engine was in the B61. I have a 1951 A51 Mack with an original 310 Mack engine in it. When we were restoring it I contacted the Mack museum about it and they told me most were converted to gas engines because of the problems they had with the diesels at the time. And that truck is only known to be one of 4 they know to still exist.
I have a Kleiber 2.5 ton flatbed truck built in San Francisco built at Folsom and eleventh street. Built 1929 and it has 4 wheel hydraulic brakes and low gearing built to handle the steep streets of the city. There are only about 10-15 known to exist anymore and about half of those run and drive

The Mack F 700 only short coming was that it didn't come with a standard mechanic. The one I drove was broke down more than it ran. Probably the worst and most inaccurate antique truck video I have ever seen. The footage on the White WG was particularly laughable. Properly, it is a WHITEGMC WG marketed by Volvo GM Heavy Truck Corporation which was a joint venture between Volvo Truck Corpoation and General Motors. It was intended as a replacement for the GMC Brigadier. The footage shows "Volvo" plastered all over it. How could the creater overlook the Volvo "slash" across the grill which has been a trademark of Volvo vehicles [cars, trucks and construction equipment] at least 1927?
