Hahahaha yeah it’s the segment of Treehouse of Horror 2 with the monkeys paw and they wish to be famous. I think after the Simpsons version of this song, that’s when Otto says “man this is gettin outta hand” about the Simpsons extreme fame. I’m an absolute Simpsons fanatic, it is the greatest TV show ever created. Treehouse of horror 2 was the first Treehouse of horror where they really hit it out of the park, the raven segment of the first one is just so awful that it tanks the whole episode, the first two segments are still pretty good though. But the Raven segment is not funny at all and it’s extremely boring, but that was back when the Simpsons was in its second season and the original writers of the show would use old references, this one was especially old, like 1800s era. The only good thing about the Raven segment was James Earl Jones as narrator, I believe he also played one of the Rigellians that comments that Homers “wife is quite a dish” because it really sounds like him. I love how the first few seasons of treehouse of horror would parody twilight zone episode, once again showing the original writers dated references but the twilight zone isn’t nearly as old as the Raven, and the twilight zone is also entertaining media unlike the Raven.
