It's been some time since my last video and I apologize for the wait! I've not been able to make a video due to being busy in life with AP exams. Indeed, my final exams are coming up soon too, so we'll see how well I can juggle my time!
Because I've been able to play a lot less, I've had a lot less practice since my last video. When fighting certain people, I felt that I was not as good as the last time I played more - I was, for lack of a better word, inadequate.
Because of this, I'm trying new methods of keeping my skill up to date: 1v1ing without Tidal Protection, for instance (7:57), and trying for a much more gamble-based playstyle.
You'll notice that I try to stun through Tidal Protection versus other assassins now. While it might seem like it's all luck, in reality, stunning through Tidal Protection is even more reliable than zerkcrit - 33% vs 14% - and I feel like a stun through Tidal gives much more immediate and consistent results than a single 4x damage hit. We'll see how my slight alteration in playstyle works out - maybe I'll explore it, and maybe not.
Besides some changes to a 1v1 playstyle, this video also shows the small group PvP that Syndicate has been moving towards. There are less 10v10s, and more 3v3s, but more often. I myself prefer small group PvP to mass PvP - but then, that's probably just me. I prefer being able to keep track of everyone in a fight than trying to simply attack anyone in range in an ocean of PvPers.
