As a Viper main, I have to say that Viper is extremely hard to use if you've just unlocked her. However, if you practice her consistently, she is truly overpowered. She is best used when attacking, having the ability to block off entire bombsites. All in all, Viper is an agent that is made for support and blocking off places.

Andrew Jeffrey I feel they misplaced her on this list. Her ultimate is probably one of if not the hardest to use because of how accurate you need to be and her smokes are the most useful for making one ways, something you never see Jett players do
I can say the easiest agent is Raze, all her skill is so easy. Boom Bot ? One line activate. Paint Shells ? Just throw It will take time if you want to master Blast Pack, but it's still easy to use them. Ultimate ? Jinx time.
When i first time got to choose a free agent- i picked viper- i was so confused because my first agent to use was Jett- and based on the recent agents I used, i mostly use duelists.
I remember playing Brim mostly when I just started because I liked the ult. I had no idea how to use smokes well, so I placed them wherever we weren't going, to maybe throw enemies off. It was a good idea on attack, but I bet it was funny when I was placing one in some random place outside sites on defense.
Phoenix IS the easiest agent to use, which is why you see many noobs in Valorant pick him. Not saying he doesn't require ANY skill at all, but then, when you compare him to even the other duelists, leave Sentinels, Controllers and Initiators, he kind off doesn't require that much to be efficient. Plus you can heal with 2/3 of your abilities...

As a Cypher main i agree. You can play him well without a lot of knowledge, but those one ways and odd setups really take it to another level. Having good game sense, knowledge about the maps and being able to predict enemies also help tremendously.
I’m learning one ways rn and man it’s pretty difficult to get the right angle and make sure cyber cage doesn’t bounce off the wall also tripwires are pretty easy to counter so is his ult so with that his abilities are when played careful and smart pretty much useless so I don’t get why he isn’t one of the harder characters to master

Started with Sova. It takes awhile to get the most out of his utility. The real trick is learning where to put his recon arrow where it won’t immediately get destroyed. And it helps to be a good communicator too.

I’m a guy who likes to go full aggressive in any game. So I tried Phoenix (Animations too long), Cypher (same reasons as Brim) and Sova (never bothered to use abilities to help teammates). Then, I finally settled on Jett (the abilities made me find myself in places where I could camp with the Marshall/Guardian/Operator and the ultimate being fully accurate to the crosshairs) and Reyna (Self-healing, and I could pop off with Empress)

The first agent I picked was Sage, then I kept on picking it and practicing it. After that I unlocked Reyna and Cypher. But after a few weeks I tried all agents and perfected every single one.
I have a nice play for omen mains, if you're in like a 3v1 and the spike is somewhere and you're 100% sure that there's no way you can get the spike AND plant or kill them all in such a short time, but you have ult do this: go to an empty site so for example if the defenders are camping spike at A, go B then wait til the time is down to like 20 seconds, then use ult, teleport exactly to where the spike is, look down, pick it up manually then cancel teleport and plant. now just gotta defend the spike and its done

Since I had always been a mobile player I couldn't just swift to computer that easily so I researched a lot learned about every agent and chose to go with sage so I don't take up a good agent like omen and be a bother to my teammates
Me picking my first agent:
Viper is so cool with that mask she removoes,looks cool maybe she is the strongest agent.

No doubt she is one of the strongest agent in valorant due to her abilities if you are into mind games viper is the agent

QOTD: Brimstone. Just tried him due to hearing his voice actor before, and regretted it. No abilities that help him to kill directly? No healing abilities? WTF. I’m a guy who likes to go full aggressive in any game. So I tried Phoenix (Animations too long), Cypher (same reasons as Brim) and Sova (never bothered to use abilities to help teammates). Then, I finally settled on Jett (the abilities made me find myself in places where I could camp with the Marshall/Guardian/Operator and the ultimate being fully accurate to the crosshairs) and Reyna (Self-healing, and I could pop off with Empress)

The first agent I picked was Sage, then I kept on picking it and practicing it. After that I unlocked Reyna and Cypher. But after a few weeks I tried all agents and perfected every single one.

I have a nice play for omen mains, if you're in like a 3v1 and the spike is somewhere and you're 100% sure that there's no way you can get the spike AND plant or kill them all in such a short time, but you have ult do this:
go to an empty site so for example if the defenders are camping spike at A, go B then wait til the time is down to like 20 seconds, then use ult, teleport exactly to where the spike is, look down, pick it up manually then cancel teleport and plant. now just gotta defend the spike and its done
I played phoenix first. Then, I switched to Raze. And now, I play Reyna because of her healing ability.
