Love these kinds of videos! I have a general rule that whenever you or another youtuber i watch uploads one like this, I have to clean while watching it. I'll be disinfectanting my room and cleaning my lizard cage today, during this one. Thanks for the motivation😊

I really like how realistic this is. See a lot of videos where it's like they precleaned the cage and cut out the difficult bits. This is an amazing example. I love the "It's whatever," vibe because same.

I use news paper under the pine pellets for the litter tray and never had an issue with staining. Its worth a try.
I love your cleaning videos--you keep it real and how spot cleaning is sometimes left for another day. I, too,don't use gloves and wash my hands real good. Love coroplast and yes, vinegar trick for stains always works--pet, unscented wipes cleans too, I just realized that my dad, who passed, had a shop vac down in our basement---i want to do a happy dance as I just have a dustbuster! Thank you for sharing!
I just use the tractor supply pine pellets. I no longer use shavings. And if you visit dollar tree they have perfect little litter pans you can use for the piggies.
My Guinea pigs go to the toilet in one corner, I don't use a litter tray, I put a few sheets of newspaper down and place hay on top: it's very useful
I loved this video but how often do you clean and spot clean . And I like the bit where you talk about what you do too. Because before I started watching your videos I only ever saw cages full of shavings so the cuter more comfy set up is so fun to watch and learn about
I full clean once a week and spot clean daily! Although here and there I may skip one day

Thank you so much for this!!! We are new to guinea pigs, so I love seeing seasoned owner's tops and tricks!! My sister and I had them as kids, but we only had one at a time in tiny cages. Sadly we lost them all too soon because we didn't know how to take care of them properly. 😭 So this is really helpful!

Sorry about that! I do have some regular Timelapse cleaning. And all my cages have litterboxes!
The hay area is the litter box as well I believe.

Perhaps scrub the litter tray with baking soda as a scouring agent?
just a question. why not sweep up the hay then vacumm the rest? that way the vacuum won't get clogged as much. new guines pig mommy so just asking for reference. also i named my guinea pig sage as well before i saw this. and the onther i have is mocca.

Yes I did like that. You know you could put on music in the background and wouldn’t have to talk and we could just watch you do it and that would be fine too. Either way is good, but I can imagine that it would get hard to figure out things to say for that amount of time lol
