- I am visiting the much talked about restaurant Saltt in Karjat in this vlog. Its a fun day trip where I travelled from Mumbai to Karjat and indulged in a lot of food at Saltt. Here is everything you need to know about Saltt. It is a new restaurant at Oleander Farms in Karjat. Oleander Farms is an upcoming destination which will have a lot of things to do. But for now they have Saltt, Cococart and a cafe. They also have a nursery called Kensho and a boutique called Akashi. They are going to come up with rooms and stay soon. Mumbai to Karjat is about 1.5 - 2 hours and its a beautiful drive. In the monsoon it may take longer to reach there. My trip was arranged for by the team at Saltt and im super grateful to them for such a fun trip.

Karjat happens to be nature's refuge from the hustle and bustle of the City. This place is situated in such lavish greenery and the monsoon increases its beauty.

Would humbly request you to add in your video that they also charge 2000/ per person as cover charges. Please don't hid information. We travelled all the way to experience this place and were so disappointed to know that we had to pay 8000/ for our family of four. Wouldn't have wasted my time and money of I had known earlier. Kindly edit your video and save other people the trouble.

I have been there. The food is quite ok and super costly. minimum spending is 2000 per person. and also the service is super slow. There are good options available in Karjat.

Try Namak restaurant. Best lounge, food and ambience. Excellent food quality.

It is very difficult to contact Saltt and get reservation. Minimum 2000/- per head food bill commitment is required. It appears more like a hyped placed

Yes.. It is very difficult and tiring. I tried calling them.. I have a feeling that Saltt is located on another planet.. First they don't attend the calls, then they don't reply to Whats App messages. If you are lucky enough to receive a reply from them and decide on a date to visit, they come with a response that their dates are full. I would advise to visit some other place in Karjat. I think they entertain only elite people.

Such dichotomy. Just before your video starts playing with those super expensive eats, the Donate Kart advt appears.. It is heartbreaking to see the suffering and pain that a major part our society is going through because of covid and lockdown. And here, one has to shell out a bomb for a bowl of soup and a humble chaat. Really life sucks.

Just a recommendation, try out Bhairavee veg, located in Baner Pune. The best place for vegetarians. They serve very delicious food and they keep changing their ambiance too.

The restaurant is good, the food is amazing but the portion size is sad..with each dish priced between 400-600₹ they should do better with the portion size.

I love Karjat.. My relatives own the Diwadkar Vada Pav in Karjat and have been selling vada Pav for decades ... miss this beautiful place. Would love to visit Oleandar farms sometime...

Word has been going around that they charge you a cover charge of Rs2000 per person, which can be redeemed only at Saltt. That means a group of 4 would have to shell out 8000+taxes at a minimum on food. Is this true?

I had been to vintage car collection 5 to 6 times
I have been here and it's very very very much costly and the food served is not that worth. Taste is just ok and not the worth amount they charge. I won't recommend anyone to visit this place at all.

Since I am from Karjat I was aware of this restaurant, especially since it has been widely publicized since the time it opened for public somewhere in the beginning of 2021. I had also been there in March but got the shock of my life since I was turned back! They only accept dine ins through advance booking and it was a weekend so it was fully booked. Was first such instance in my entire lifetime at Karjat and we aren't used to being turned back atleast at restaurants within Karjat 😁. As usual, the video was fun to watch and it seems to have quite a lot of variety for us vegetarians as well, now that's it's open again and it's so close to my home, I might better give it another try through advance booking this time!
