❤️Hello friends, in this vlog we take you for A Day Trip To Karjat. Karjat is a small town situated around 70kms from Mumbai. Many food lovers take this trip as Karjat has many restaurants and eating places that serve various varieties of food. So we too decided to have our Lunch In Karjat. The Village Restaurant is one such theme restaurant in Karjat that serves great local as well as international cuisine. The owner Mr. Nilesh Patil is a very young and enterprising person and has done a great job with this two year old eatery.
The seating arrangement is really good and they offer various options. The menu is vast and has a huge variety of Indian, Chinese and tandoori dishes, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. We decided to go for the village special menu that gave us a choice of local delicacies. The pithla bhakri deserves a special mention here as it was really very delicious. The chicken ghee roast was nothing like the ghee roast that is served in Karnataka or other manglorean restaurants. It was infact a Chinese preparation and according to the staff it was their own version of the ghee roast. But whatever the name this starter was a great way to start our lunch. I suggest that they should change the name of the dish so that the customers do not get disappointed. The rice bhakri was extremely fresh and soft and went along very well with the food.
The other dishes like the mutton agri and chicken village style were also nice. The Agri mutton was again their own version but delicious none the less.
We ended our lunch with a sweet and chilled rabri kulfi which was great too.
So on the whole a great lunch experience at this beautiful restaurant in Karjat along with an excellent host and foodie.

Nice ambience...food I think atleast at this places should be local instead of what we get everywhere...
1st reason is that cook shud b aware of what they are cooking..eg the ghee roast how can it be with Chinese sauce???
Instead keep more of local cuisine which people are nowadays looking for and also the cook will be well versed with it...
