- This TV cabinet is made from recycled pallet wood. I’ve used heaps of basic methods to show it can be simple to build, yet end up with something very solid and unique. Having a table saw is the key for this build, if you don’t have one, it is definitely worth saving your money and making it your next big tool purchase. It will open up so many opportunities, like it did for me. This is my first video doing voice over, feel free to tell me what you think. Enjoy

He talks! Another top build... you are making me eye off dumpsters. Some most excellent choice of soundtrack about halfway through there. That finishing step is just awesome to watch. Oh and an unsolicited tip of the day, changing the thickness of boards like that is called "resawing" as opposed to ripping which changes the width. #themoreyouknow 😉

mate what are u using to clean your blades ? i know from practice with reclaimed wood that the blades got dirty after few cuts. im talking especially about allyear green trees wood. wood with resins

Mate this is bloody terrific. A hell of a lot of work but also doesn't look like it is outside of my basic capabilities, lots of repetition. I love using pallet wood, you'll notice on my channel that i only ever use other peoples junk! hahah Also, what glue did you use because it is obviously pretty strong and where the hell do you find pallets with such good colour variation. They're all pine near me. Great video. Subscribed!
@@dainermade Thats great to know about the Parfix. I tend to use my Titebond 3 for everything and it's bloody expensive. I'll have to find a new haunt for my pallets or at least check out Bunnings. Would love some colour variation.

Great build. Love the waterfall side (I think that is what they call it). Question re the varnish you used. I looked it up on Bunnings website. Good price, but had a bad review. What has been your experience with the British Paints product? Dom :)

Bro, you could easily get 1500 for that in the US
It is a huge amount of work getting the wood ready. Do you take the pallets apart per project or do you simply take the pallets apart and stock pile the wood? I wanted to ask about protection for yourself. I see that you are wearing ear protection in this video, what about some sort of mask? The dust, etc. must be horrendous!
