Great info! I started researching businesses this summer after my teen graduated high school. Our town lost Postal Annex in 2015, they retired instead of renewing franchise fee. Did Lisa Song Sutton's mailbox money course. It's very good, but not thorough enough. I love watching your store journey. We opened with $30k into our location, November 20th. We only have 1 set of mailboxes, 34, I drove to Scottsdale to purchase for $1k . You definitely could do a course on how to do marketing without mailboxes! I'd buy it!

Trying to keep expenses, especially labor, down until we pay off bills and meeting expenses. I love the challenge of learning this business since it's so different from anything else I've done.
How are you doing so far? Any thing also you would add to Lisa info. Also, looking back are you happy with everything in you mailbox. How many days a week are you in the store. I currently work for some one. And wondering if I can maintain both. Thank you in advance

You are on point with not getting a large space. I'm also looking forward to the marketing course. Everything I'm trying is moving slow but I'm learning patience even though I want a horse race. Thanks as always ❤
We started in Nov last year and in Cali we were able to start with 35-40k as well. I wish we had a safety net for another 10-20k because the struggle is real.
I think a business like mine would work best in a densely populated city, but a pack and ship business may work better in the burbs. Are there any other mailbox stores in your community? May be worth it to see what services they offer the neighbors and do that

Congrats on starting your mailbox store journey! There are many insurance options out there, so I’d definitely suggest continuing to do your research, but we use Next Insurance right now. I appreciate the love and thanks for checking out the vlog 🤝📦
Great info! 1 area where I’m confused is postal mates & payment processing.. I’d like to use square but it seems they only suggest a few processors.. can I use square even tho it’s not 1 of their recommended companies?
You can use any processor you’d like! Square just doesn’t speak directly to PostalMate but you can definitely use the two services together. That’s what we do
