For forwarding mail I put the original envelope in different my own envelope instead of opening the original...
Great idea! I do that also when the envelope is small enough to fit in a standard envelope, but that’s usually not the case for me. What size envelopes do you use?

Thank you for the kind words! I wrote the Fishbox number on each package so I can easily find it on the shelf when the customer arrives.

Napoleon, I've watched a TON of your videos. If you would give some clarity; I see a LOT of packages flow through your place. Do the carriers pay a fee for you to receive the packages (hold them)?
I appreciate you checking out the content, it really means a lot! We only charge the customers a monthly subscription to hold their packages. The carriers just deliver to our place as if we were another residential address 🤝📦

Definitely slower during the summer. Which is a nice break but we have a busy two weeks during Amazon Prime Day(s) in July

I keep watching your videos to see if you comment on this topic but I haven’t found it yet. I don’t see any mailboxes in your store so how can customers get “a mailbox” for letters? Also, it seems like they can only pick up letters when the store is open unlike the post office or other mailbox stores. Do you have a video that explains all this? If not, please help me understand what your setup is…

Hello Napoleon. Thank you for your commitment to helping people! Could you share how you establish pricing for receiving packages for customers that do not have a mailbox with you? My question came about when you were describing being a hub to receive wedding presents. Appreciate your response. 🙂
Yo! Thanks for the kind words! At this time only Fishbox customers can get packages delivered to our store. They have to choose one of the two subscriptions we have. I thought about allowing non subscribers to use the service and charge them later but didn’t think that was a good fit for us at this time 🤝📦

If you are in the suburbs, near high traffic businesses (grocery stores, Walmart, Target, etc...) are best. Location is key in your market. Try to start with a decent quality sign for a reasonable price. I spent $3800 for mine. Yard (corrugated plastic) signs are great marketing tools around town. I have had so many people say they stopped because of my signs.

Do you know the distance of how far you have to be to be a hub for FedEx, ups, ect? I line in a small town with no access to FedEx and Amazon for at least 30 miles but we have a ups drop off location.
30 miles may be enough distance but I’d recommend speaking to UPS/Fedex first just to be sure.

I am in a small town of 5k. I got FedEx, DHL and USPS (CMRA) easily in November 2023. I started/soft opening without UPS and had $1200 in sales my 1st month. UPS Initially turned me down because there was 1 other UPS ASO and 2 Access Points in town! The 2 Access Points have since closed. The other UPS ASO is in a small computer tech store owner. He is not consistently open with his hours M-F. I am open Saturdays. Try being a UPS Access Point 1st, watch Ship LAX video, he didn't open with UPS either.
