Wow I can really tell a lot of passion and time went into this! Kudos to you and your team of support and actors because wow! This really exceeded my expectations of what you normally see in short films. Fantastic job, hope there’s more to this story in the future!!!
Thanks! This was truly a collaborative effort from a group of really talented individuals. We've got some more stuff in cookin in the oven that I'm really excited for!
A Serious, Realistic, yet morally-positive film. Gotta help someone, Gotta trust someone. Definitely too short, leaving you wanting to see more. We did see the shadow of the cameraman in one of the fight scenes,(which was very funny) yet goes to show how much effort went into telling the story, with great anticipation of how it was going to end...
With all of the diff apocalypse movies and mostly remakes because thats all Hollywood it seems can do, I was suprised by this short film. Im ready for more. Keep it up guys!
Are you doing any other future films and do you take any other cast members. Because I am interested in doing so if possible. I am a serious Inquiry FYI
Not a bad film. Not bad at all - good story and the fight scenes were very well done. However, when shtf, it wouldn't be long before All ammunition had been used up (certainly at that rate of fire) and everyone was back to using bows n arrows and spears. One thing which did surprise me was that no one seemed to have a knife... which is the most necessary tool for survival in Any situation.
Thank you! That would be interesting, perhaps we'll try to incorporate some archery in the next one! It's funny, we actually had a couple prop knives of set and we went with a whittled stick instead. I'll be sure to double check my inventory next time
They all looked very clean, well fed and well dressed. Slightly surprising given the lack of hot showers, food and clothing stores. In reality any survivors would spend their time scavenging, keeping warm and conserving energy, as homeless people do today.
Good point! I was going for a vibe similar to "The Road" (2009) but I think the cast weren't very eager to roll around in the dirt lol. Maybe for the sequel. Thanks for the feedback! @@Tailspin80
This was AWESOME!!! the acting, the bit of realism, the fighting, the story! THIS is what i call a good film and i hope it continues! Just subscribed This film is what im gonna try to aim for in my own film Keep up the good work! 😎👍
@@rednoxproductions your welcome! And I wish you luck :) maybe we can even work together one day, give eachother ideas and such. I am working on a movie project myself
Pretty good film. However, the lousy marksmanship, coupled with the extremely unrealistic use of ammunition under advanced apocalyptic conditions of no resupply took a lot away from the overall effect. Otherwise, I enjoyed your project. I hope you make more films.
Thanks. Also, so many of these kind of films tend to gloss over the day-to-day realities of things like finding/purifying, and carrying water. Some wild edible foraging would greatly enhance the ''viability" effect. Anyways, I could see from your 'blooper' video that you all must have had some good times making this film!
Looked like a colt 45, and lucky to have that much. After all, we have no real background info, and no time frame of how long he was traveling alone? I've often thought that two Colt gold cups and about a thousand rounds of ammo would be better long term than a bulky, cumbersome assault rifle. Colts break down for easy cleaning, are ruggedly reliable, and are easily carried in holsters, leaving hands free full time for the countless tasks of daily living. Would YOU be able to carry a rifle 24/7/365?
Interesting perspective! After all, its not a zombie apocalypse they're up against. That may be more rational for general survival. Thanks for the comment!@@johnpowell8568
If the first (dead guy) shot himself in the head.....where's the gun......and if somebody shot him, why didn't they take his food........otherwise, pretty tight script.....
Believable until they got to the open fire . I don't think I would tolerate the hanger on as he has attitude and he's noisy . And then the bad guys show up firing their guns in the air . Come on now really. I know from watching many of these videos that stupidity keeps the story line going. Try harder perhaps .
Wow, that "Jay" is a horrible actor. Talk about stilted delivery, cardboard persona. You couldn't have found someone who could, at least, have acted NORMAL? That would've passed.
“There’s no such thing as good people…” too true.
This is better than any of those Hollywood films
Indie > Hollywood. 🙏
Anymore, I have to agree with you.

Great music. Where can we get it?
@@greenwithagun Thanks! All the music you hear in the film is from Artlist’s Music Library
*_Excellent short film!_* Really captures the dog eat dog reality of when humanity hits the bottom.
Thank you! For our first project I'm really proud of it and looking forward to more!

Very good indeed, these things are hard to make & there was some great stuff here, this storyline has potential too. 👏👏

Amazing simply amazing
Thank you! Super proud of this project!
Good story. I liked that you didn't have to end it on an ironic note like most of the short films.
Thanks! We wanted to tell a fairly complete story with this and I think it worked out with plenty of room for more!
Well done!

Congratulations! Cheers to all of you on this film well done!

Making smoke in a survival situation? Not too smart😊
Very real except for the idiots wasting ammo.
If the first (dead guy) shot himself in the head.....where's the gun......and if somebody shot him, why didn't they take his food........otherwise, pretty tight script.....
Totally unrealistic…but was OK

To much wasted ammo for a Post-Apocalyptic story. Bullets don't grow on trees. Other than that, it was pretty.
