  • Welcome to The Sherlock Holmes Final Mystery-an immersive journey into the world of the legendary detective Sherlock Holmes. Prepare to be captivated by intrigue, deduction, and adventure unlike any other as you step into this experiential art installation. Behold a masterpiece of craftsmanship and storytelling-the Sherlock 1911. Every inch of this pistol is a tribute to the legendary detective and his thrilling escapades.
Adorning the metal canvas are intricate engravings that encapsulate Holmes's world. Portraits of his trusted allies and cunning adversaries grace the sides, immortalizing the faces of those who shaped his adventures. From the stalwart Dr. John Watson to the nefarious Professor Moriarty, each visage tells a tale of loyalty or treachery.
Embedded within the design are maps of London, meticulously rendered to showcase both the bustling streets surrounding 221B Baker Street, Holmes's hallowed address, and the labyrinthine alleys near Scotland Yard, where justice and intrigue intertwine.
A music score engraved along the top of the slide, the haunting strains of Mendelssohn's violin concerto. This melody resonated through the walls of 221B as Holmes serenaded his steadfast companion, Watson. This poignant detail serves as a reminder of their enduring friendship and shared moments of respite amid the chaos of their investigations.
Intriguing drawings of Asian fishes adorn the pistol, a cryptic homage to a pivotal clue in one of Holmes's cases. These fish symbolize the tattoos that led Holmes to unravel a mystery involving a traveler who returned from the Far East, showcasing his keen eye for detail and deductive prowess.
The grips of the pistol hold their own secrets, bearing depictions of two of Holmes's most perilous encounters. One features the menacing silhouette of the Baskerville Hound, its spectral form evoking the chilling terror of the moors. The other depicts the fierce struggle between Holmes and his arch-nemesis, Professor Moriarty, a clash of intellects and wills that reverberated through the annals of detective fiction.
The art of the pistol grips depicts two of his deadliest moments: his encounter with the Baskerville Hound and his fight with his sworn enemy, Professor Moriarty.
The left grip panel of the pistol is hand-engraved with a masterful depiction of the iconic climax from "The Final Problem." It captures the breathtaking Reichenbach Falls in Switzerland, with water cascading powerfully down the rugged cliffs, setting a dramatic backdrop for this pivotal moment. Sherlock Holmes and Professor James Moriarty are in the midst of their final, intense confrontation, intricately etched to show the tension and dynamism of their struggle. Both figures are positioned perilously close to the edge, locked in a battle that is as much about wits as it is about physical strength, encapsulating the culmination of their rivalry. The engraving portrays the critical moment when both adversaries appear to tumble over the falls, a scene that is both thrilling and ominous. The artistry of the engraving brings this significant narrative moment to life, turning the pistol grip into a canvas that narrates a key chapter in the Sherlock Holmes saga.
The right grip panel is meticulously engraved to depict the haunting scene from "The Hound of the Baskervilles." The art captures the moonlit moors with uneven, treacherous terrain, setting a backdrop for the dramatic encounter. In the foreground, the legendary hound stands fierce and formidable, its form emerging from the shadows under the glow of a suddenly revealed moon. Beside it, figures of Watson and Sherlock Holmes are portrayed, their postures tense and frozen in a moment of overwhelming fear, unable to reach for their weapons. The intricate engraving wraps around the grip, blending elements of the supernatural with the tangible fear faced by the characters, creating a captivating narrative piece that intertwines the dark lore of the Baskerville curse with the thrilling adventure of Holmes and Watson. This artwork on the pistol grip not only serves as a homage to the classic tale but also transforms the firearm into a unique artifact brimming with story and character.
The Sherlock Holmes Adventure Pistol is more than just a firearm; it's a work of art that encapsulates the essence of one of literature's most beloved characters. With every detail meticulously crafted, this pistol stands as a testament to Holmes's enduring legacy and the enduring allure of his adventures.

Once again, an amazing piece of steel, true artisans at work. Not something to take to a BBQ, but the engraving, design, and fit and finish are truly something to behold. Wow, if only....
What did they sing in Fiddler on the Roof, "If I were a rich man, yaba yaba daba do...". Sigh...

My favorite detective, an utter passion for all things "logical". I wish, Rob would look down on me humbly and bequeath this utter masterpiece to me. No, I am not deserving......but WOW, I am so wanton. I have the 2020 GOTM November Safari, a Gentleman's Carry, an Alchemy Prodigy hard fit, and an Alchemy Prime Elite. It's a a shame I was born good looking rather than rich.....okay, strike that, I wish I had saved my 401K for this pistol. Beautiful work, I doff my cap to all involved.

Absolutely stunning pistol but I'm not sure why you've used Paris as a background as Sherlock Holmes was London based?

Sure is a pretty gun. I don't think Holmes ever carried a 1911.
