Great job!, in particular when you clean and condition the uppers before putting the new sole. Most other cobblers on youtube do the cleaning/conditioning after the whole shoe is put together and I always felt that way it wont reach into the bottom leather closest to the outsole. Kudos!
Love the new look of the boots. I have 2 pair that are barely worn. If I sent a pair too you, would you do them like this for me? My insoles are good. If so how much? Thank you!
Your advice about the cost of resoling used boots is good and practical, but in my case I am glad to have you work on my boots and pay for your craftsmanship!!
The Chippewa service boot have classic good looks and I own 2 pairs, but always viewed them as glorified dress shoes with its cost cutting construction (one of my heels just fell off). You have taken your Chippewas into the "real service boot" category, and they will now stand up to hard work in the elements for years. Fantastic job Aaron, I wish Chippewa had built them this way ........... doesn't matter anymore as they are out of production. 😢
@@AaronG2480 Right on man !! If you get a chance to pick up a crazy horse leather pair, go for it. I use Saphir suede cleaner and Bickmore Apache conditioner to keep the Nubuck feel. The results keep them looking good. After the Apache conditioner, the color gets darker, but after a week or two, the nice light color returns. Your Chippewa improvements would make the ultimate casual service boot on the crazy horse.
I like the way they look. I have a pair of Chippewas like those and now I know what to do when it's time for a resole! I only wish they were still makig them so that I could buy more. íTe aventáste joven!
I have some Chippewas very similar to these (different color) , thank you for the ideas when I get them resoled 👍 Te quedaron super, sigue hechandole ganas
Un trabajo de calidad a tus botas mi estimado, y una buena elección ponerles la suela negra, aunque me llama la atención la rojiza. Gracias por subir dos videos esta ocasión se agradece el relax, saludos Aarón 👊🔥🔨⚡
Those heels looks awesome bro.. nice job on the revive shoe repair.. hope too see more of the cowboy/spanish heels on boots though.. because its really rare too see that kind of unique traditional style heel nowadays.. anyways, excellent job 👍👍
Super chingonas, felicidades!!! yo tengo unas wolverine 1000 miles con la suela destruida y exactamente así me gustaría arreglarlas, me podrías decir el costo aproximado por favor? Gracias
Sweet!
Just picked some up off eBay too for cheap, hoping to get a resole done with the cost savings.
Chippewa should take a look at this brother work and hire him

Beautiful work. I'll have to bring in my Chippewa apaches to your shop, when the soles wear off a bit more.

Sadly you’re right, that’s why I didn’t want to let this opportunity pass by so I had to buy them and improved them!
Thanks for watching!🙏

They still make something similar. Companies sometimes change slight details to market their products to keep up with trends.

🙇♂️🙏
Wow! Nice!
I have same pair in black. Do you have to replace the welt if you replace the footbed?
Good Work Aron 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻👊🏻🇧🇷
Are these dr sole more softer and cushion then the vibram mini lug. I'm not sure if to get crepe soles or half soles on iron rangers.
Vibram mini are nicer. At least I think so. Having used both.
They’re are almost the same, if you want something comfortable, I highly recommend you to go with
(Crepe Soles)
Cuanto y como puedo mandarle mis botas para reparación ?

Are you familiar with Steve from Bedo's?
