@@ChromeComputingTV OK. I was asking this because my Chromebook has a broken built-in wifi chip and does not accept external USB wifi. So my concern is what am I going to do if I need a factory setting again. Greetings!
@@ChromeComputingTV Update: Finally the Chrome OS system allowed me to configure with ethernet. It seems that it detected that Wi-Fi was not enabled and proceeded to configure itself with Ethernet.
I just got my Acer 314 Spin 2 in 1 touch screen tablet Chromebook. it has 8gb ram 128gb storage and 6000 intel celeron processor. I'm enjoying my Chromebook. i don't do photo editing, game, or office work my laptops. I'm a casual user.
6:36 would you know why it would pop up network not available instead of the screen who’s using the Chrome Book? It says it is connected to the internet but Network Not Available keeps popping up and on two separate devices.
Ok had to get a new modem/router finally got internet to link to printer and chromebook. Now my printer is epson sp 420 wi-fi and my acer chromebook is old on back is says 2014 also found (google will not support after Jan 2021. Cannot get any printing done, do you think it is my printer or do I need new chromebook? If new chromebook I am senior and need pretty basic chromebook, any suggestion. I am not good with tech and limited funds, thanks
Hi, unfortunately I have no way of knowing what is causing the issues with your printer. It could be many things, so I cannot really help. I personally avoid printers because they are a pain to use no matter what OS you're using. I don't want to say you need a new Chromebook when it could be something to do with the printer. I hope you manage to get it fixed.
Beautiful walk-through with excellent explanation along the way! Thank you sir...

I don't think there is, but I can't say for sure. I usually always setup WiFi before ethernet, so never had to check. I think the answer is a no.

My Chromebook won’t even detect any Wi-Fi I’m stuck at the network screen
Recheck your password and try being near the router
you spent an obnoxiously long time in the set up menu trying to decide on what features you want.
