I make them too, exactly the same, except I use Crown for the whiskey. Girl! Was feeling you on the improvised strainer. They are off the hook. Love em. Layered can be requested, but it's a shot. Usually done in groups. It's a lot easier to make 4 or 5 at a time. Served faster. Taste the same.

Another I used to looove was called the Bushwacker. With coconut milk, Kahlua, Bacardi dark rum, dark Crème DeCacao,a little half and half. Blend and add scoop of vanilla ice cream. Pour in glass, drizzle chocolate syrup, and put cheery on top!! Yummy!!

Yup! Designated bartender at 9. I couldn't tell you what the shot was but it looked like a suspended brain in clear liquid. I can clearly remember practicing and how excited my dad was one I made one perfectly. I'm Gen X. All my core memories are riddled with questionable parenting decisions, but I'm smiling just typing out how awesome it was!

I know that she says that these are only "skits", but she also says that the majority of these 'skits" are based on true things that happened while she was bartending. Yeah, I'm critical of her, but I actually do own a bar & was a pro bartender for 38 years & I can't even count how many bartenders that I've trained & helped them get their TAMS cert. Just by watching her, I know that she's a liability & I would never hire her. She definitely needs training in all aspects of the bar, just the fact that she isn't even TAMS certified says it all!
You should try an Irish shake. It's butterscotch schnapps, baileys, Jameson and root beer. You can do equal parts of the 1st 3 with the root beer float. Or root beer and a shot of each for a draft glass.
As an Oregonian who loves our Ducks football team: we used to watch the Duck games at a local bar, and every time the Ducks scored a touchdown, everybody could get $1 duck farts. They were only like 3/4oz pours, but it was always so much fun :)
You clearly need to stop drinking soda and start drinking "adult" drinks. Most alcohols are very good enjoyed straight from the bottle, some blend better than others.

My mother's favorite drink was a White Russian. We always had Kahlua and Vodka on hand :). I don't like Vodka, but I do like Kahlua, and one of my weaknesses is Baileys in coffee. It's the only spirits I drink these days, and usually only on a cold weekend night, but I might give this one a try. My dad's favorite was Jim Beam and 7Up - my first name is Scott, and Dad would always say "Beam me up Scottie" while lifting his empty glass whenever he wanted a refill. I got good at making White Russians and Jim Beam and 7UPs. :D
That color made me instantly think of cinnamon toast crunch shots (I always made mine a drink lol) but ugh now I'm craving one so bad they're definitely one of my favorites OF ALL TIME!!!🤤❤️ a lot of people just use fireball and rumchata but before fireball got so popular i always used goldschlager with rumchata and a little splash of rootbeer.... they're good both ways but i prefer the og version but that splash of root beer really makes all the difference!! I have sat up all night playing quarters with a lovely bartender doing shots of Kahlua, I have also drank 100s of gallons of Baileys. She had the proportions pretty much bang on.
Brings back memories 😊 We tend to get Tia-Maria more often than Kahlua here in the uk, which sucks because Kahlua’s nicer (imo). We have a cocktail over here called an Orange Smartie (named after the uk chocolate beans, not the us fizzy sweets) that’s a shot of either Tia-Maria or Kahlua with orange juice, shaken with ice, and it’s delicious! Tastes just like orange flavoured chocolate!
I've been on a massive Kailua kick since 2020 when it popped up everywhere again, Asda and coop sell it constantly. It's only about 10 to £15 a bottle. I LOVE it with evaporated milk. Add a good glug of it in any cream or milky cocktail and it tastes AMAZING and so creamy and decadent. not the thick condensed milk. The thinner evaporated milk. It's SO good. ❤❤❤ 1000 out of 10 recommend ❤❤❤😂
My shooter girl friend (friend who poured shooters) teased me for never drinking, most of her "shot specials" were blue, bright blue. After they had a nice laugh together, he told her how to make it, she made it, and he was happy. She got to come home and tell us about this drink, and teenage me thought it was HILARIOUS. My shooter girl friend (friend who poured shooters) teased me for never drinking, most of her "shot specials" were blue, bright blue. So I ordered 10 Jack Daniels shots, drank five, she turned around and asked who I drank them with, I said nobody, so she said... "no, who did you share with..?" So I drank the other five. Then she was scared I was going to die or something, but instead I just decided it would be a "real drinkin' " night.

Duck farts are the only time I have ever seen triple. Drank with two Scotsmen that night. Awesome memory filled with so much regret the next morning. 😂
When my mom was tending bar, she was asked to make this drink. Aaaand she thought he was joking at first. After they had a nice laugh together, he told her how to make it, she made it, and he was happy. She got to come home and tell us about this drink, and teenage me thought it was HILARIOUS. I'm in my 30's now, and it's still funny.
