Some years ago, Blowers on T.F. Harleys were banned, I don't know why, now they can have them again, but some of the Top Fuel 'HD' guys say they just don't help much, not worth all the extra hardware...
Vance & Hines build POS headers, they fall apart at nothing! I had a V & H header on my Kawasaki, it broke within two weeks. It couldn't stand Japanese inline 4 power.
My V&H broke where four pipes flow into one. I welded it back, then the rear hanger mount broke. I bit the bullet, and bought an $1156.00 Akropovic header. My ZRX-1100 has more power + much less exhaust note. AK all the way!!! Have a good one!
poncoolride My Japanese bike wouldn't have any problem with your vibrating V-twin H D. Any 600cc Jap bike has 130 hp. Your Shaking Davidson 1520cc has 69hp. Vance & Hines are made of tin cans, and belong in the scrap metal pile.
There is not many parts on that motor that came out hd factory,v twin yes but not harley

On the other hand.My Harley,Has a 2 system fogger set up on it.Never have I broke a Vance And Hines Header.Check your rear mount.Just saying.
