I am a self confessed gear junkie and I gotta say that this is THE BEST demo I have ever watched. You nail it when the band starts. The tone difference is amazing in this context. Congrats on a brilliant review and I have subscribed and look forward to more great reviews in the future.

You could get some nice clean tones from the Monarch at apartment levels. However, it might be a bit too much if you really wanted to push it for some nice overdriven tones (15 watts is still pretty loud). If that's the case, I'd look at the Benson Vinny or at adding an attenuator to your setup (the Tone King Ironman Mini might be a nice option with the Monarch).

Thanks, glad you like the demo! It would depend on the specific gig. The amp starts getting a bit bluesier/overdriven around 4-5 on the volume knob.
Do you recall which speaker was in this and whether it was 6v6 or EL84 in the power section?
Yes. It had the Benson Custom Ceramic speaker and 6V6 tubes.

Thanks dude! Don't tell anyone, but the '72 Mets Rookie Stars card is the secret to getting that vintage tone. Modern cards don't cut it.
