White walls make every swatch you paint look so much darker than it is! I remember swatching slaked lime at my old house and thinking it looked way darker than I wanted, but I'd seen loads of photos of it online looking way lighter, so I took the plunge and just went for it and it was exactly what I wanted!
I have literally been rewatching all of your past vlogs for the last couple days and refreshing my page constantly in hopes you'd upload a new Vlogtober! Your radiator cover looks so good! I don’t know if anyone has already suggested it, but a tip when using rattan is you can submerge it in water to make it a little more pliable and then you can pull it tighter! I’m obsessed with rattan DIY’s!
You can also iron it! 😊

Looks great, i once seen on the repair shop if you soak the rattan first in water it makes it nice and flat when putting it on

I used to hate exercise, too. But as I've gotten older (I'm 36), I've realized how important it is to stay strong, coordinated and balanced. So now I enjoy working out because I know it's doing me a lot of good lol.
On my screen the two colors you stuck on the wall look the same. I liked the pink you picked up on accident. Mixing that with white might get you to a nice color. And it would look nice with Delilah’s tent.
I would use pink 01 on the walls and pink 02 on the skirting/woodwork. Both lovely colours!
Spray it with abit of water and put the radiator on!! It should shrink it abit xx

About the paint, I had the same issue with my baby daughter's room with Lick. Ended up using White 06, which is a very warm pink-toned white that's like Pink 01 but brighter. Hope it helps!
I feel like its because we spend so much more time in and enjoying being in that we feel the need to makeover the house during the cooler months
That company you were talking about making the throw for your bed is "Project pillow" and it's a Finnish brand, and I agree they make gorgeous throws 💛 and also I really liked the pink 01 on Delilahs wall.
I'm really trying to get into exercise but it's hard, I love walking but other than that everything just feels like a chore, I'd love to try barre but I don't think there is a class near me.
since it's cozy season, have you thought of making a book haul of both yours and delilah's books? 😍

Maybe you would like dimity by farrow and ball? It’s a cream beige with a pink hint seems similar to the one you liked? We get it mixed by Valspar
Oooo will check it out. We almost went for a Valspar paint (I’m thinking that might have been the one I mixed with white actually) but as with all the others, it went on really dark on her wall 🙃

This sounds silly but it was a relief to hear you say what you said about your furniture. We bought our first house a few years ago and we regret some of our furniture buys now. I HATE furniture shopping as I feel if it looks nice it won’t be comfy etc. Adult problems 🤯🤣lovely vlog as per usual xx

I could be wrong and maybe the walls are not square but there could be solid color wallpaper? I think there might be a Peelable wallpaper.
I’m 36 and I just had a huge through back to my mum having chairs with that rattan stuff on them! Totally forgot about them till you showed it! Lol
I kept saying, "soak it in water" over and over as you kept talking about the rattan! Haha It expands when wet, so working with it wet will feel like what you have now, but when dry, it shrinks so it leaves a taut finish! Hope that helps :)

Are you going to get a small corner sofa or maybe a foot stool? We have a corner sofa and footstool. When they're both together its so cosy with a blanket, its like a bed.. legs up, cuppa, and away i go!!
We’ve thought about it on so many occasions but realistically it wouldn’t work in our living room, even if we moved everything around. I just can’t wait for a comfier sofa full stop 🤣
I liked the deeper pink from Lick. The others feel too close to plain white to me.
Some of us just like the saturated colors..but so many people use Whites with a tiny bit of color in.
I guess the latter feel less risky..

What colour would Delilah like in her room? Stupid question really as she would probably choose hot pink or bright blue 😆 in my daughters room we did the top half white and the bottom half in blush pink by dulux! Its at the back of the house so can be quite dark the white keeps it nice and bright ☺️

Honestly both paint colors look more like an oatmeal color rather than a pink? I think if Delilah would like a pink room I’d just go for pink 05 like a true pink maybe on own or two walls with a warm white shade on the other walls and down the line you can always change it again! Neutrals are generally really nice but sometimes it’s fun to have a brighter color for a small child’s room :)
I thought the same! She does want a pale pink but those are definitely too beige in her room x
@@RhiannonAshleeVlogs we have pink 01 for our bedroom. Once you do the whole room it will feel better but maybe pink 02 or 03 for slightly pinker

There's these children's chopping safety knives that you can buy which enable them to chop veg and fruit but they're safe for them! We use them at preschool and they love them! 😊
I’ve seen some that looked great although they said 7+ so I was waiting a little longer before I got those ☺️

I think since it’s not a chair it will be fine either way. There is bound to be expansion or contraction since it’s in front of the radiator.

Maybe have Delilah choose two colors she wants for her room. Then do two walls one color and the other walls the other color.
Why not do wallpaper? If the paint doesn’t read as expected in the wall why keep trying paint?

Sorry, un requested advice. But if you soak the ratan for a while first then staple it in, as it dries it will shrink and pull really taut and flat
I know it’s a simple thing… but I love how tidy you can do Delilahs hair for school. My little girl is a year younger and try but am not great at plaits 🤣
Some girls just have more wild hair - my mum did her best with plaits and ribbons but it was always a little "undone" and everyone said it suited my creative personality 😎😅
Next time lightly spray the rattan. Use pencil s or tacks to make more taught
So the 'kicap manis' is pronounced just like you pronounced ketchup. Which made me laugh a bit haha. But you say it like this: ketjap and then manis is just how you think it is :)
