I don’t know why this makes me cry. It’s like being a child again and seeing Star Wars for the first time. Rest in peace, Princess, and now James Earl Jones. 😢
Amazing that Star Wars and the music from it is still being played and enjoyed 45 years after it came out, and is just as wonderful as it was back then.
I was thinking the same thing not too long ago. It's interesting because I remember as a kid when they first started playing movies on TV and they were from the 1930's and 1940's which made them 30 or so years old. I thought who wants to watch that old a movie?
You're right Junior, but what's more, 200 years from now, it will STILL be as wonderful as 'it was back then' :) John Williams is going to pass into history as one of the greatest composers of our time (and all time) - this one's for the ages.
This 17 year old experienced MAGIC for the first time when he saw and listened to this in a Chattanooga area theater in 1977. And each of the other six times he went back and watched it again. That double LP was worth every dime.
Love the bass player in the background at 2:42. He's a little blurry but you can see the HUGH smile on his face from the monstrous wall of sound of that last note with nearly all of the stops pulled out. Amazing & Well Done!!!
I did most of the cast and crew flying for Return of the Jedi and at one time I could get through the eighth of nine pages of Widor’s toccata in F. She took me back to the most wonderful years of my life when she punched up the sforzando piston o for the last note. B
I do not anderstand why everybody is filming the string section playing all the same part while the winds (00:30 - 00:50 / 01:49) and brass players (01:20 - 01:37 / 02:03 - 02:11) being ignored the whole time. Even timpani are ignored in their great final (2:42)
@@C_Madrid You are poor people, but there is still hope if you start listening to real Music - real Musical art, this is at the beginning of the beginning - Berlioz. What you admire here has nothing to do with the art of music - this is a commercial product, eat, don't you feel sick? Turn on your brains, if you have them, miserable.
The smile on Anna's face at the end says it all

The moment when you feel that you can take on the whole Empire right now. Priceless.
Only if you are part of the dark side. They take everything.
Literally pulled out all the stops, brilliant.
Anna you are the coolest musician ever!
Wonderful, gave me goosebumps! Love Anna’s final flourish, glorious.
The joy she gets from music is such a wonderful thing.
That last chord. The orchestra members: what the.....?

@@bmaverickoz Agreed! Composer John Williams is an American National Treasure.
Hearing this, I’m instantly seven years old. Holding my mom’s hand, and watching Star Wars, one of my greatest childhood memories. Bravo!
Love Anna Lapwood. Love her.
Get in the Q bud
The looks to camera (via mirror, this time) are truly brilliant!
that smile made me smile too

Go, Anna!!
The force is with you, young Anna! 🙂
Don't you mean Anna-kin? Wait, no, she would never go to the dark side. Never mind!
My favourite organist, helping to play some of my favourite music.

Way to go, Anna! Your smile at the end! No more to be said, except a fantastic performance.🎉🎉🎉🎉
Music with (literally) a smile 😊
Superb, goosebumps is oh so right wish I’d been there !
That was.....awesome!!! I have been following Anna for a while now. She never disappoints. He smiles are so infectious, and they say it all.
Fantastic !!
I wonder how many people made a path in life with music because they heard amazing film scores like this?
Yup... goosebumps.
I envy everyone in the audience. The splendor and magic of those making music of the wonderful John Williams. Brilliant!
How to make the Star Wars Finale sound even better? Add Anna Lapwood playing the 'Voice of Jupiter'.
Wonderful !
A wonderful performance ❤❤🌺
@Anna Lapwood perfect

This is wonderful. 🎻
Amazing ❤
Espectacular!!!
Just booked tickets for 2025, can't wait!!!!!
Epic ending.
The cymbal guy was the MVP.
Bravo!!
Awesome!
WOW!!!

Ironically looking like Darth Vader at 1:16 😄
When George Lucas engaged John Williams to compose the score for Star Wars, it was an inspired choice.
Wow 🤩😊👏✨🌟👨🚀🌟✨💞👌🦋✨🌟🦋🥰👏👏👏
Hardly saw Anna at all.
So small compared to the instrument she's playing. But gives the orchestra a challenge in sheer volume.
Could tell she was holding back on the volume until the last few notes to the point of being barely heard. Then blew the orchestra away.
Was this music in all 9 star wars? I know they made a parody of the music like the Brady bunch. I haven't seen the star wars in a long time

❄️
Epic just got more epicer 😂
That conductor is ridiculous.
??
Poor people... listen to Mahler, Beethoven, Berlioz. Poor things.
What's your problem?
Poor you

The only one poor here is someone who limits their liking and listening of music to certain ye olde composers only and thinks that makes them "rich".
wow
