You are right Victoria. It is super confusing and all jumbled up with multiple decision making with FS/Sa modifier and check incident -to box and add as supervising provider. I feel Medicare with commercial insurance have all confused me now. I thought I had it all correct. Each Dr. statement is different in hospital. Appreciate if you have examples to come up with level too
This was just what I was looking for. Straight to the point for what I wanted. We are going to start having mid level providers see patients and I have no idea how to bill for them. This was very helpful. Definitely subscribing 👍🏾 13:10

Hey Victoria I wanted to know where can I print out the 1995 and 1997 E/M guidelines for the CPC exam??? I read on Novatis website the materials we can have during the exam on us. Any guidance???
So for incident to, how do we code it if the NP addressed the plan the physician put in place but also addresses a new problem?
Also for split share, I struggle with who to bill under. I’m told it’s whoever has the substantive portion of the record which is confusing to me. But in this video it sounds like that’s not the case.

When the NPP is a salary employee does it make a difference?
Example. NPP is doing rounding for the hospital, physician agrees with above and signs off.
