    I seriously need some advice! I just got hired by a primary care clinic to audit their charts. I have only had my CPC since 2016, and in that time I worked for a medical insurance payer in the provider disputes department. I worked the coding disputes and did some coding validation. I know coding to a certain extent but to be honest, I don't feel that incredibly knowledgeable! The company that hired me has no other coders and they hired me to handle the coding auditing. I have been honest about my background but they seem to think I am supposed to be the guru of coding that people come to. What on earth do I do?!?! Rise to the occasion? Fake it til I make it? Have an honest talk with these people? I am having some serious anxiety going on and don't know what to do. Advice appreciated!! 😭

    I was previously an X-ray Tech for 20+ years and now changing careers. I am taking medical terminology at a local tech college. It is a good refresher/intro for me. I do not think doing their program is appropriate as it seems I know things like EHR and the cost will be expensive. Do you have a program? What is the cost?

    Hello ❤ is the AAPC CPMA certification equivalent to the NAMAS CEMA certification?

    • @ContempoCoding
      @ContempoCoding  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No, the CEMA only covers auditing E&M where the CPMA covers auditing for all professional fee services.
