That’s a better thing to say than the “Just move on” crap. Like only somebody who hasn’t experienced this would say that. Because sure you do move on *eventually*, but it’s not instant. It takes time.
I think they started off as friends and they fell in love with each other and she moved in with the mc. But they broke up cuz either she had to go to college or it didnt work out. She moved out and they made up and became friends again.
