So the thing I love the most about this medley, is that it's a beautiful example of Ollie's love for Hololive, and all of her fellow members.
This was the gift she gave to us for her hitting a big subscriber milestone. She even held an unsub stream because we were going to hit it too fast and this wasn't done yet.
You can easily tell how much love and respect she has for her fellow members in how she covers each song, slightly mimicking the way they sing the songs in their own way, yet still being the Wonderful Zombie Idol we all know and love.

So my favorite part of this Medllie is how telling it is of Ollie's personality and genuine love for Hololive that her 1M subscriber special wasn't a celebration of herself or her own accomplishments. It was a love letter to all of her friends, from every branch of HoloPro, and a celebration and showcase of _everyone else's_ music. Ollie is and always will be the uncontested #1 Hololive fan.

The Medllie is rather unique in the musical output of Hololive, which fits for the unique character that is our Zombie Idol. She's affectionately known as a Hololive "simp" who somehow got hired by Hololive, and her enthusiasm for the things other Hololive members have done and continue to do is evident throughout a lot of her work. It's especially obvious here, where her one big wish for her 1M sub celebration is to get a professional illustrator and musician help her sing songs by everyone else throughout the company rather than do something that focuses more on herself. It remains to be seen if she does a follow-up to this covering music by members who didn't have original songs before she put this together, but I know many of us are hoping she does.
Yeah, she promised she would try to put out a part 2 of this Medley shortly after it released, but considering how long this one took, I'm not expecting part 2 any time soon.
Ollie is a wonderful member of Hololive. It was a very good day when she joined them. She can speak excellent English and Japanese while being indonesian. Also she has so much time for others including much smaller streamers.
Her Debut Stream was also wild.

The craziest thing is she managed to sing the full thing in a karaoke.
Ollie is a real special case in Hololive. She's the real superfan who managed to actually get in. She loves the other girls and guys to bits and supports everything they do with major enthusiasm. Absolute sweetheart. I cant wait to see her on stage at the fes this weekend.
Ollie is a super sweetheart and this is her love letter to everyone who has supported her and all the other members who she looks up to and who welcomed her with open arms. It's just so wonderful. Her vocal performance is just mindblowing with this.
And I want to point out the amazing work of the arranger, because a lot of songs were rearranged, tempo was changed, keys changed, the transitions, etc. What an absolutely fantastic piece of art they have created.

Been waiting for this since last stream, and I know people have said it before but Ollie is the biggest hololive fan, and this song is proof of that. This is my favorite Ollie song and that may change in future but still won't change the fact that I have listened to it a ton of times, on loop.

I am really sure the timing to this video was perfect. If it was earlier you would not get the songs nor empathy for the original singers, but you still have others that you still have not reacted.

The arranger for the medley, Farhan, is a notable producer who has composed a few original songs for Hololive members, including Gura’s Reflect, Reine’s Gate Open: Start as well as two group originals for Holo Myth. The former two are both featured in the medllie, back to back flowing right into each other. And the Reflect segment is notably one of the bigger departures from the original featured in the arrangement, which I always found interesting, like Farhan was more willing to completely change it up with his most widely known Hololive song.
Another part of the sequencing I find interesting is toward the end we have the song Spiral Tones to represent Rikka from Holostars, followed by Cloudy Sheep for Watame, leading into Red by Calli. This is notable as the former two songs also feature Calli, so it’s almost like three Calli songs in a row.
This is a brilliant piece, and it will only become better as you become more familiar with Hololive music.

I love that she starts with the quintessential Hololive song, "Shiny Smiley Story". This song has pretty much become the official theme song for Hololive, as it's used to open almost every HoloFes concert weekend and usually features as many members as possible (for the Fes concerts, it's all of the members performing that day), and always manages to get me emotional every time. It was a great choice to open the medley with it. She really picked such a great lineup for this medley, and as you said, she does an incredible job of shifting into mimicking each of the members' styles so well! Also, man... slowing down Mio's "Howling" like that REALLY gives it a lot more emotion, and having that come after Lioness Pride and Palette was just not fair at all. That whole section really hit hard and she did a great job with it. We love our Kureiji Zombie Idol!
Also, you should definitely check out Kiara's "Hinotori", the fourth song in this medley and Kiara's first original song. It's such a classic for Kiara, and for it to be her first Hololive original which she release about 2 months after debut, she really came out of the gate swinging. Highly recommend it!
Once again I want to recommend Shishiro Botan's Lioness' Pride, you caught a glimpse of it here through Ollie when the ballads started.

I like how ollie arranged the the rikka and watame songs in a way leading up to the calli section because both of those songs were a collab with calli so you were anticipating to hear her soon anyway.
Man this was just an amazing project ollie put together and its honestly one of my favorite things to ever come out of hololive in general. She shows how much love she has for this big group of incredible people. She truly is one of us fans.
I remember seeing this as it premiered a year ago and I just got floored by how long it went on and on (because you know, when something premieres you don't know how long its going to be) and it just continued to spread the love and it was a truly beautiful moment.
Ollie is part of the Indonesian branch, Shes fantastic to watch and listen to, she's one of the few talents that live translate almost everything she does. She often repeats things 3 times, in English, Japanese, and Indonesian so that way anyone watching her can understand what's going on. Shes giant sweetheart and a blessing to this community
This is such an amazing homage to all of Hololive and Holostars and Ollie's rendition for all of them is fantastic. You can hear how much love she puts into her voice in each song, and massive kudos too to the editors and staff who worked on the MV; not only does her outfit change but each song pays homage to the original MVs as well.

Ollie is the biggest hololive simp you'll find. Her being able to mimic all these artists and their songs make sense. She also has karaoke streams singing their songs sometimes. But yeah this song was an amazing mish mash of all my favorite artists, I'm very happy spiral tones got in there.

Dude, Ollie's message was aimed at you too. Your time in this rabbit hole have nothing to do with her message, you clearly love that hole, you love the talents, you love what they do and you are as positive as you can be, then it is aimed at you. You may still be a baby vtuber fan, but you are so eager to learn more and share that entousiasm with everyone, you are as much a part of this hole as any of us!
Also, what you said about them seeming more genuine than most youtubers (I'm paraphrasing here) absolutely makes sense. Look at it that way, most youtuber want a part of anonimity to themselves, so they build some online persona they always fall into to keep a part of themselves hidden from everyone. That's they they will often over-react to things and will always feel a little guarded, which is normal. Let's be real, you aren't our friends, we aren't your friends, we treat each others with care and respect but we don't know each others. Most of us will never meet you, so building a friendship over streaming and videos is next to impossible. The only way it could be possible is if (I'll take in the first person for it to be easier to explain for me since English is my second language) you and me got into contact outside of stream because I left a comment you liked enough to contact me, and then after talking for a while and multiple times, friendship could blossom and it would be thank to your videos. That's the only way, so it is perfectlyunderstandable to keep a lot of things hidden from your fans.
Vtubers on the other hand can really be themselves because it is way harder to recognise them. Yes, you can recognise their voices, their laughs and all of that, but a lot of us will never know their faces, so finding them and being a danger for them is way harder, which let them open themselves more to their audience. Their avatars give them at least a layer of anonimity protecting them, which help them open up. I hope it help you understand what you felt better!

Ollie was, as far as I know, one of the first Hololive members to do something like this. This medley I think made way for Hololive ITSELF to create a bigger stage kind of Medley.
That larger Hololive Medley recently came out at the start of this year. MUCH shorter, around 7 minutes long if I remember right, but each song of that Medley has a lot happening sung by different hololive members.
Ollie doesn't have as much star power or big fanbases. Suisei and others get a lot of views, but no matter how little views or many views Ollie gets, she puts everything into what she does.
Please do not exhaust yourself. The rabbit hole is big. Whatever happens, enjoy what you want to watch or react to.
The last part where she says the message is my favorite. She says the message but still it doesn't interrupt the song at all. It made it even better! The transitions in this is so amazing

Farhan Sarasin, the one who made the arrangement here is the composer/producer for Gura's REFLECT. I believe Ollie used the jazz arrangement of REFLECT in this medley and it's so good. Check his channel as well for the breakdown of how he compose that song. I love farhan's jazz arrangement considering he started his work leaning to that style.

This is such an amazing song and her voice is so adorable. The first song could be an anime opening with how well it is sung and the beat of it. It is great! Love the transition to the other songs beats as well. They all could be anime openings!🎶💖 Her range is beyond impressive she is talented beyond something anyone could practice literally gifted voice talent!

hololive is a community that relishes in the fact that there ARE others out there to show all we can to. Every vtuber, every song, every clip.
You totally nailed one of the reasons why I love Hololive. The members are more genuine than the vast majority of people you meet face to face.
It hits so much harder when you find out the histories of some of these girls and the reasons some of them had for getting into streaming. Particularly the EN Myth girls for me represent that even in this twisted world, sometimes the good guys do succeed.
Ollie is so important to Hololive, I think. She loves everyone and everything so much, as evidenced here, and she *constantly* pushes it forward. Obviously all the members bring their own stuff, but I know how much Ollie has done to make me love all of Hololive more, as well as just being great in her own right. They really got it right when they accepted her in.
Ollie is basically the ultimate fan
This is one of those songs that, while amazing, I wouldn't recommend people as their introduction to Hololive. Not because it can't stand on its own, but because being familiar with the covered songs lets you appreciate Ollie's dedication all the more. And she absolutely deserves every bit of appreciation.
