Been looking for a game video for a couple of days, so happy to see one! And I'm doubly happy to see a Hydra squad, which is one of my favorite affiliations :D Looking forward to see how it plays out! Post-Watch: Good game. Absolutely devastating last turn.
It had some wild plays going on. Had a lot of fun with it. As for videos, we get one out on the channel every Saturday, barring emergencies, so hopefully you can find something you enjoy! I will apologize in advance, as we are not great Hydra players, at times
Is there any chance you could maybe apply some treble or just some kind of audio editing to make it a bit more clear? This channel has some of my favourite camera work for MCP battles and I enjoy your commentary with subtitles but I'm a little hard of hearing for certain frequencies. The audio sounding a bit muffled unfortunately means subtitles become a necessity for me compared to other stuff I watch. Love the content though guys!
I can play around with it, though sometimes there is some environmental noises that I am just not able to filter out, which might be causing the issues. I am always working on improving equipment and quality, when time/funds allow, though. I will pay a bit more attention to the post audio, and see if there is anything further I can do
Do you guys have some form of quality control for rules? Not trying to be rude, but every video seems to have one or several glaring misinterpreted rules that are quite easily observed just by reading the character cards, and it would greatly improve quality of the videos if issues like this didn’t consistently occur.
Well, by all.means, share what we got wrong. Thought I had caught errors during the editing process, but if we missed stuff we definitely like to hear about it. Also, no need for hyperbole by saying we constantly get things wrong. That is, empirically, not the case, and we always own up to a mistake, and work to do better
I wouldn’t exactly call it hyperbole when it’s fairly consistent trend that people are calling out rules misinterpretations or misplays in the comments of most videos for MCP that you post. Mighty Thor misplay of “If She Be Worthy” in the recent video seemed especially egregious, since simply looking at the card has the ability starting with “When this character is defending” Love the content still guys, and like I said, not trying to knock on ya or be rude about it, just wishing there was a bit more tightening up gameplay that’s posted on a premier channel showcasing the game.
You said there are several, glaring, misinterpretations/errors that occur constantly in our videos. In over 150 videos filmed, there are significantly fewer instances of rules errors than there are of errors. That right there would make your statement hyperbole. Not to mention the language used. Egregious, glaring. These make the mistakes seem far worse than they actually are. In reality, most of the time a mistake is made, it has little bearing on the outcome of the game. Suggesting we lack some form of quality control ignores all the other factors that go into filming. In Troope's case, this is often his only game of the week (and I try to trust/rely on who I am filming with to know what is on their cards, as I need to keep track of my own. If I catch something, I catch it). Not to mention we play something new each and every week, which means we are juggling 198 character rules cards around, and humans are fallible. Lastly, we have a limited time to actually film (which is already a 4+ hour process). Sometimes we need to get back to our other duties/responsibilities. So, again, mistakes happen. We acknowledge them, and if I catch them during post, I call them out. I do this for fun, and at considerable cost to myself, and long since stopped worrying if a mistake is made, because, once again, they happen. No one is infallible, and plays a perfect game every single time (and, for the record, we have a large amount of games with no rules errors that occur in them). Add to that, and many who film this sort of content can attest to, the camera does weird things to play patterns, and stuff that is second nature can get bungled when filming. I have over 100 games of shield under my belt, and yet, in one of my shield games, I mess up how much stamina Hawkeye has, even though he makes it out about 1/4 of the time for me. It happens. I appreciate you taking the time to comment and watch, as that is important, just as I try to be as transparent in the process as I can. But to expect perfection from some potatoes having fun, filming their weekly game of MCP? Well, we are here to have fun, and spread the love the game, first and foremost.

Fun game, as a note Abomination's strike is a gainer not a builder. You gave him 4 power from that attack into Shuri round 3.
Good correction! Weirdly, I had been playing it correctly before this

Good to see a Troope win :) poison strategy was interesting though
Dude spoilers - save these ones for the after action report!
Sorry!
