I'm very confused why you would pay to put a scar veteran on a horned one and then stick it in with cold ones. You lose every benefit. Scar veterans in cold one units benefit from cold one's hide more. And then you put an old blood on a horned one and then ran it next to the cold ones anyways, instead of trying to chomp war machines. Although the old blood did help in the fight against the black orc warboss.
When the Bull Centaurs charged through the monsoon, they should have reduced their movement by 1 for passing through dangerous terrain. So they should have only charged 9 (6+2+1) and would have failed. That would have made a huge impact on the game, so let's just say you rolled 4 instead of 3. :)
Also to nitpick, you said the orc warboss had a 2+ armor save at one point, but ignored that the attack had ap -1. I don't remember if it mattered though.
    Cheers. love Lizardmen vids.

Good point with the bull centaurs. But there's 3 ways to agree on this. Because it's true if you've failed the charge you haven't touched yet the difficult terrain. One way is the -1 to the movement doesn't apply at all when charging, another way to agree on this is it always applies, as the charging unit knows what's coming, and the third option is the difficult terrain will only apply if the charging unit has reached its charging roll result with it and if it's far above it doesn't matter anymore. It's a little bit paradoxical or self-contradictory. Because how do the bull centaurs know they're gonna be stopped with some terrain if they didn't make it there yet because it's a charge and it's whether they fail or they continue 7 inches forward. I'm pretty sure I remember from a previous video of these guys; they said if they didn't reach the dangerous terrain with the charge roll, the -1 doesn't matter anymore. But I may be mistaken, there's a lot of people playing on youtube. Also, where did the monsoon go? They may have agreed on what to do with it after the charge. You're the frog from reddit, hi!

@@andreigrigoriev6836 Hello! On page 128 of the rules under Charging Through Terrain, it says, "Before making a charging unit’s Charge roll, check to see if any part of the unit will move through difficult or dangerous terrain, or across a low linear obstacle, when it makes its charge move. If so, that unit must discard the highest result when making its Charge roll, rather than the lowest, and will suffer a -1 modifier to its Movement characteristic (to a minimum of 1) when making its charge move."
Because it says to check before rolling the charge (and subtract from movement), the unit would fail the charge and only move forward the lower dice value of the charge roll. I imagine the charging unit sees the difficult terrain ahead and decide they're not going to make it with their current 'umph'. How quickly they realize this is shown by how far they move before stopping.

Because it says to check and apply the penalty before rolling the charge, the minus one and lowest die roll are taken regardless of if the unit reaches the terrain on a failed charge. I imagine the unit sees the terrain ahead and decides they're not going to make it with their current 'umph'. The distance they move before stopping shows how long it took them to realize they weren't going to make it.

@@rayn619 I totally agree with you. But only one thing is that the rules mention when "making the charge move", and the other thing would be a -1 to the unit's charge range. I still think that part is a little bit left to be discussed and pulled on an agreement. I would also agree with somebody who says they are already making their charge move and if they started they can't fail the charge. Because the part of discarding the highest result is clear due to how it's worded. But the -1 to the charge range would mean one thing. But it says -1 when making its charge move. So that's different and could be taken up to consideration. IMO they left that part like that on purpose. It could also be interpreted as -1 when making a better move while charging, like wheeling to get a better position. But they yet cannot fail the charge because they've already passed the point of when they started moving up to their full charge range. And I'm having in consideration that the rules say movement characteristic is the same as movement when a unit moves. I still think that part can be discussed and agreed on something.
