Mace is by far my favorite character. When he decapitated Jango Fett then looked up at Dooku like "What up you lil bitch" i knew he was my favorite.

When you claim " sidious threw the fight on purpose to turn Anakin " you prove that you have forgotten or misunderstood everything in every star wars movie. Claiming sidious threw the fight is wrong on so many levels.
1# this claim assumes that sidious sensed anakin coming. but this is flatly contradicted by the fact that Lucas has already established a reoccurring theme in all star wars movies for letting the audience know when a character on screen senses something that we can't see. Facial expressions, verbal statements and physical gestures are the indicators. Here's a list. EP 4 - when alderran is destroyed , obi wan GRABS HIS CHEST, SITS DOWN AND FURROWS HIS BROW. Luke asks what's wrong ? Obi wan says " I felt a great disturbance in the force ,as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror ".
EP 4 - when the falcon arrives at the death star , vader says " I sense something , a presence I haven't felt sense......"
EP 5 - when Luke is hanging on for his life he says " leia hear me" then we get close up of Leias face saying " Luke"......." , we have to go back I know where Luke is "
EP 6 - Luke senses vader on the star destroyer and says " vaders on that ship.......I'm endangering the mission "
EP 6 - vader goes to sidious/Palpatine and says he senses his son, but sidious' vision is so clouded that he doesn't sense Luke , but vader tells him AGAIN " I have felt him"
EP 1 - ki adi mundi says to Anakin " your thoughts dwell on your mother " Anakin says " I miss her "
EP 2 - Anakin and obi wan stop in the middle of their conversation when Anakin senses padme is in danger , obi wan says " I sense it too "
EP 2 - when Anakin looses his mom, yoda is across the galaxy but he tells mace " I sense Skywalker is in pain"
EP 2 - yoda sense the dooku duel and requests a ship.
EP 3 - yoda drops his cane, clutches his chest and looks like he's having a stroke when order 66 happens.
THERE IS NOTHING IS THE WINDU VS SIDIOUS FIGHT TO INDICATE THAT SIDIOUS SENSE ANAKIN !. How can he sense Anakin Skywalker on courascant when he couldn't sense Luke Skywalker on endor. All his senses were focused on surviving window's fury,l. Sidious didn't sense when Anakin was about to throw him to his death. But thats only the first reason the " sidious threw the fight " claim is bogus.
2# when you say sidious threw the fight to look weak in front of Anakin, because he needed Anakin to betray mace to turn to the dark side, it assumes Anakin needs to think sidious is weak and that the jedi are corrupt in order to turn and save him from mace. But why mace why not one of the weaker jedi ? The smart thing would be to pick off windu, kit fisto and one other and leave the weakest jedi left to use as a sacrificial lamb just in case Anakin doesn't turn, unless you claim that sidious already knew that Anakin would turn in which case it makes no sense for you to say " sidious lost to mace to turn Anakin" sidious would have just killed all 4 jedi and told Anakin anything and Anakin wouldn't have arrested or killed him because he thought he needed him to save padme ( besides, he wouldn't have been able to arrest him ) there's no way sidious could have expected Anakin to think he's weak, you have the bodies of three jedi masters in the office , a trail of destruction leading to the shattered window where sidious is throwing a barrage of lightening at mace AND YOU WANT ME TO BELIEVE SIDIOUS IS PLAYING POSSUM WITH MACE ? But the biggest giveaway is that despite the fact that mace and sidious have been fighting, sidious is still alive ! Have you forgotten that mace defeated a battalion of battle droids on dantooine with his bare hands, he created vapaad ( the deadliest lightsaber style) he can see shatterpoints through the force ( which means he can see his opponents weaknesses) he lead the jedi into the geonosis pit where he took off jango fetts head. And in episode 1 when qui gon asks for Anakin to be tested , yoda looks to mace for the final judgment and mace shakes his head and says " bring him before us " so 900 year old yoda looks to mace for wisdom sometimes. I mention this because you act like mace is some wimp. Lucas himself said mace beat sidious , and that yoda and mace are the only ones that can duel with the emperor. You act like sidious is god , but he looses his lightsaber duel with mace and when he shoots lightning mace just deflects it and fries sidious. Sidious definitely lost his duel with yoda because he puts his light saber away and runs away from yoda like a coward and proceeds to throw stuff at him from a distance to avoid dueling with yoda. But yoda chases him and fires up his saber about 3 times ,as if to say " stop running and fight me punk" but cowardly sidious shoots the blade out yodas hand and shoots lightning but yoda just absorbs it with his bare hands like a boss, so the fight ended in a draw because yoga retreated but sidious didn't pursue. And when the clones tell him " there no sign of the body" instead of finishing yoda off , sidious sends his clones after him like a coward. Then in episode 6, he doesn't even try to duel with Luke , he just shoots him with lightning ( which doesn't deform Luke incidentally ) but then get thrown off a cliff by a one armed vader who just got his ass kicked and sidious doesn't even sense it coming. I mean seriously guys , come on, you act like sidious is invincible but he has the most anticlimactic and uneventful death in all of star wars, everyone dies better than sidious,!!! qui gon, darth maul, jango, dooku, mace, Obi wan, even general grievous put up a better fight at the end of his life than sidious. And the funny thing is, sidious' name doesn't even imply that he's all powerful !!! If you type synonyms for insidious you will find words like deception, shrewd, cunning, duplicitous, sneaky etc. You won't find words like ALL POWERFUL, UNSTOPPABLE, GOD, OMNISCIENT, OMNIPOTENT, INVINCIBLE ETC But you act like it does. Why is it so difficult for you to see or admit that mace won ? You have some grudge against him ? And I'm not a mace fanboy but even if I was it doesn't change the fact that I'm right, you are the ones who go out of your way to concoct these elaborate convoluted theories about how your saviour sidious won, and I'm over here just giving you a simply reading of the movie, not because I'm obsessed but because I just pay attention, try it sometime.

Mace Windu did defeat Darth Sidious, Period. I don't know why it's still debated, George Lucas already confirmed it.
I would have thought that was pretty obvious from the movie. Unless Sidious threw the fight because he knew Anakin was coming somehow, but I guess there is no reason to really believe that.
He did, but due to circumstances, not because he was more powerful.

Here's why I love Mace Windu:
His lightsaber form, as said in the video, channels one's inner darkness and harnesses it without fully turning to the dark side. You'd have to have a lot of willpower to use this kind of fighting, but if you are truly good enough for it, you can be much more focused and dangerous in combat. Mace Windu had many emotional flaws, but he acknowledged that and found a way to use it to maximize his potential.
I also like the color purple. And Samuel L. Jackson.
I agree. The fact he’s the creator of such form, and it’s only practitioner that never fell to the darkside is an example of how strong minded he was. It’s like someone enjoying their favorite drug without ever becoming addicted, which takes an almost unrealistic strength of will
Sith rely on their passion for their strength. Mace Windu was able to tap in and draw from his passion (anger) apparently but not let himself be drawn into the dark side of the force. His willpower and desire for good was more powerful than his anger in my opinion. No other jedi in history were able to do this?

TheDawsonator1 Mace was a dick but so was Yoda and Obi wan in episode 2. Mace and Yoda were ignorant to the Sith and compassion that it made them ignorant and not ready to change. Neither Yoda or Mace really helped Anakin. Anakin asked Yoda for help and a he said was ok too bad no feelings, dark side. People who just see Anakin as a brat piss me off he was a slave his entire life even when he left Tatoine. I mean..Mace had a reason to be weary of Anakin. As you can see. I think its one of those "it was always meant to happen" things. Destiny. Anakin was gonna turn no matter what.
@@SolidSnake240 yeah yoda even states it in the clone wars that this is the only path when discussing the clones which shows that everything in star wars was truly the will of the force. Mace is also awesome and top 2 strongest jedi with yoda and maybe luke if it had been more clear in the sequels.
imo i think the reason he was like that towards anakin is because of his shatter point and he knew how vulnerable anakin is to the dark side. The reason for not granting the rank of master was to prevent anakin from accessing holocrons that can bring him to the path of the dark side.
And what did anakin do? Proved him right just like a petulant child.

Funny enough blue and red make purple so the fact that his style walked the line between light and dark, purple still makes sense regardless of what the actor wanted. It's irrelevant given how well it fits had he asked for it or not.

Would love to see the outcome of a friendly Windu-Kenobi sparring match. It seems that one mastered the offensive nature of combat, and the other, the defensive nature. Perhaps Kenobi's lack of darkness would prove an advantage against the reflective nature of Vaapad, or perhaps the unpredictability and uniqueness of Windu's lightsaber form would have proven too much for even the master of Soresu.

I think they should have introduced the Grey Jedi for that reason. In a way they bring balance to the Force with the user using elements of both sides. Mace Windu would technically be a Grey Jedi simply for that fact alone even though he was loyal to the Council.

I enjoyed your analysis of Mace Windu greatly! Cool job and as far as I remember concerning this character your analysis ist the best I've seen so far!!!
I absolutely LOVE the character of Windu. He's badass, poweful and really interesting. He lead the jedi Order in the Clone Wars and in the battlefield itself. Seriously one of the best characters to come out of the PT.
That being said however, as much as I love the character, I have to admit that pretty much everything that was wrong with the Jedi Order can be seen with Mace Windu. He was arrogant and self-righteous, as seen during the whole Ahsoka fiasco. He's too quick to enter combat, unlike Old Ben who realized that a lightsaber is as a last resort. He was blinded by his own sense of purpose that he failed to consider the true danger the Jedi faced. He was disconnected from true life in the Galaxy, away from the suffering of the common folk and too involved in politics. I love the character even more because of this, he's an example of one who truly believed in the Jedi ideals and fought to preserve them with all his might, he fought to protect what he believed what's right, which is nothing short of admirable, but it proves that the very Jedi ideals of the time had been corrupted to a point where they no longer served the greater good.
He is completely the opposite of what I hope Luke will be in TLJ, something more, something closer to the original intent of the Jedi. More of a philosophy of "the greatest Jedi is he who knows when to put away his lightsaber" (or something like that was basically what obi-wan once said).

But the biggest giveaway is that despite the fact that mace and sidious have been fighting, sidious is still alive ! Have you forgotten that mace defeated a battalion of battle droids on dantooine with his bare hands, he created vapaad ( the deadliest lightsaber style) he can see shatterpoints through the force ( which means he can see his opponents weaknesses) he lead the jedi into the geonosis pit where he took off jango fetts head. And in episode 1 when qui gon asks for Anakin to be tested , yoda looks to mace for the final judgment and mace shakes his head and says " bring him before us " so 900 year old yoda looks to mace for wisdom sometimes. I mention this because you act like mace is some wimp. Lucas himself said mace beat sidious , and that yoda and mace are the only ones that can duel with the emperor. You act like sidious is god , but he looses his lightsaber duel with mace and when he shoots lightning mace just deflects it and fries sidious. Sidious definitely lost his duel with yoda because he puts his light saber away and runs away from yoda like a coward and proceeds to throw stuff at him from a distance to avoid dueling with yoda. But yoda chases him and fires up his saber about 3 times ,as if to say " stop running and fight me punk" but cowardly sidious shoots the blade out yodas hand and shoots lightning but yoda just absorbs it with his bare hands like a boss, so the fight ended in a draw because yoga retreated but sidious didn't pursue. And when the clones tell him " there no sign of the body" instead of finishing yoda off , sidious sends his clones after him like a coward. Then in episode 6, he doesn't even try to duel with Luke , he just shoots him with lightning ( which doesn't deform Luke incidentally ) but then get thrown off a cliff by a one armed vader who just got his ass kicked and sidious doesn't even sense it coming. I mean seriously guys , come on, you act like sidious is invincible but he has the most anticlimactic and uneventful death in all of star wars, everyone dies better than sidious,!!! qui gon, darth maul, jango, dooku, mace, Obi wan, even general grievous put up a better fight at the end of his life than sidious. And the funny thing is, sidious' name doesn't even imply that he's all powerful !!! If you type synonyms for insidious you will find words like deception, shrewd, cunning, duplicitous, sneaky etc. You won't find words like ALL POWERFUL, UNSTOPPABLE, GOD, OMNISCIENT, OMNIPOTENT, INVINCIBLE ETC But you act like it does. Why is it so difficult for you to see or admit that mace won ? You have some grudge against him ? @ Brain. Its almost criminal that you haven't put OWK level with Anakin / Dooku.
...and as much as I want to believe in the future *potential* of Ezra / Kanan from Rebels, no way are their *current* lightsaber skills equal to Grevious.
As a lightsbaer fighter I don't think Kenobi can compete vs Vader/Anakin or Dooku...Anakin just lost because he was too cocky but even in the Episode III documentary the creators say that Anakin is on a higher lever. About Dooku...he defeats him two times being around 80 years old...

Brain Your Game -- The "fools" that went with Windu to capture Sidious were three of the most powerful Jedi in the Order. They were more powerful than Anakin. And Grievous is mountains above Ezra and Kanan.

As someome who's lived through many dark things and carries alot of pain, I often try to find ways to use my past to help others or use it in other positive ways. I wonder what would have happened if Mace had taught Anakin Vapaad. Would he have fallen to the dark side more quickly like Sora Bulke, or would Mace's harsh teaching have tempered Anakin's arrogance and improved his attitude? Would it have helped Anakin in his fight against Obi-Wan, or would Anakin have regressed into an attack dog and let the form master him instead?

And in episode 1 when qui gon asks for Anakin to be tested , yoda looks to mace for the final judgment and mace shakes his head and says " bring him before us " so 900 year old yoda looks to mace for wisdom sometimes. I mention this because you act like mace is some wimp. Lucas himself said mace beat sidious , and that yoda and mace are the only ones that can duel with the emperor. Then in episode 6, he doesn't even try to duel with Luke , he just shoots him with lightning ( which doesn't deform Luke incidentally ) but then get thrown off a cliff by a one armed vader who just got his ass kicked and sidious doesn't even sense it coming. I mean seriously guys , come on, you act like sidious is invincible but he has the most anticlimactic and uneventful death in all of star wars, everyone dies better than sidious,!!! qui gon, darth maul, jango, dooku, mace, Obi wan, even general grievous put up a better fight at the end of his life than sidious. These are just some of the questions that interest me in this video idea.
In the 2003 clone wars cartoon, you can see that Kit Fisto was quite powerful. Especially when he went into water! He became an unbelievable force in his home element.
I think that his raw force ability and connection to the living force is second only to Yoda, but perhaps his lightsaber ability against Sith does indeed surpass even Yoda. As you say, the form he uses draws on his opponent's connection to the dark side, so that in itself gives him an advantage, and given his already unparalleled mastery of saber combat, physical strength, shatterpoint, and strength in the force, I can't imagine any dark force wielder being able to compare. His fatal flaw, which blinded him to Anakin, was his downfall, not any combat weakness with Sidious. I do think he legit beat Sidious and Sidious only used the situation as theater when Anakin arrived in order to turn him. It was just an opportunity.

It's pretty clear from watching the movie that Darth Sidious wasn't helpless and could have defended himself at any message moment as evident when he threw Mace Windu out of the window with Force-lightning.

Yet she learned several fighting styles, echani martial arts, rare force techniques, she adapted a lot of non-force techniques as well... she defeated dozens of assassins, and 3 greatest sith of her time... yet so many people overlook her... (Even in SWTOR she is barely mentioned...)
Because Revan is a fan Favorite and the exiled was not made canon until SWTOR. People were waiting for the rest of Revan story. But I do agree that the treatment her character got in SWTOR was bad, all this time waiting just to get her name and we found out she's a force ghost..

You should do another video topic on Mace Windu. The topic is about whether Mace Windu's great dislike to Anakin Skywalker, and his refusal to ever train him, even in learning Vaapad was due to possible jealousy of Anakin's great fighting and force potential.
I think it was more that he was worried Anakin would fall to the Dark Side. Considering Anakins background and considering the stuff Mace would have seen in his life up till that point, I'm certain that would be the most pressing issue. Also, Mace doesn't strike me as jealous. Rather, he would be interested in testing to see if he could best him in combat if he wasn't afraid Anakin would succumb to the dark side.
Please, do what would happen if Darth Vader turned Luke on Bespin.

Windu was more powerful than Yoda in terms of fighting lightsaber duels against powerful darkside users, yes. However, Mace didn't hold that advantage against non-darkside users. Such as Yoda... As he stated in the video he channeled their own dark power through himself and back at them. No correct/wrong answers though.

It's weird to think that he's seen as harsh. Pragmatic and stern maybe, but harsh? He is by far one of, if not, the most compassionate Jedi there is. Lol. It's true. The only reason he had a purple lightsaber is because purple is Sam Jackson's favorite color and Lucas wanted him to stand out in the Battle of Genosis. But it was cool. I heard the only reason Luke had a green lightsaber in Return of the Jedi was because the blue lightsaber was too hard to see amid the blue sky of Tattoine. It's cool to add some story to explain though.

When you claim " sidious threw the fight on purpose to turn Anakin " you prove that you have forgotten or misunderstood everything in every star wars movie. Claiming sidious threw the fight is wrong on so many levels.
1# this claim assumes that sidious sensed anakin coming. but this is flatly contradicted by the fact that Lucas has already established a reoccurring theme in all star wars movies for letting the audience know when a character on screen senses something that we can't see. Facial expressions, verbal statements and physical gestures are the indicators. Here's a list. EP 4 - when alderran is destroyed , obi wan GRABS HIS CHEST, SITS DOWN AND FURROWS HIS BROW. Luke asks what's wrong ? Obi wan says " I felt a great disturbance in the force ,as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror ".
EP 4 - when the falcon arrives at the death star , vader says " I sense something , a presence I haven't felt sense......"
EP 5 - when Luke is hanging on for his life he says " leia hear me" then we get close up of Leias face saying " Luke"......." , we have to go back I know where Luke is "
EP 6 - Luke senses vader on the star destroyer and says " vaders on that ship.......I'm endangering the mission "

THERE IS NOTHING IS THE WINDU VS SIDIOUS FIGHT TO INDICATE THAT SIDIOUS SENSE ANAKIN !. How can he sense Anakin Skywalker on courascant when he couldn't sense Luke Skywalker on endor. All his senses were focused on surviving window's fury,l. Sidious didn't sense when Anakin was about to throw him to his death. But thats only the first reason the " sidious threw the fight " claim is bogus.
2# when you say sidious threw the fight to look weak in front of Anakin, because he needed Anakin to betray mace to turn to the dark side, it assumes Anakin needs to think sidious is weak and that the jedi are corrupt in order to turn and save him from mace. But why mace why not one of the weaker jedi ? The smart thing would be to pick off windu, kit fisto and one other and leave the weakest jedi left to use as a sacrificial lamb just in case Anakin doesn't turn, unless you claim that sidious already knew that Anakin would turn in which case it makes no sense for you to say " sidious lost to mace to turn Anakin" sidious would have just killed all 4 jedi and told Anakin anything and Anakin wouldn't have arrested or killed him because he thought he needed him to save padme ( besides, he wouldn't have been able to arrest him ) there's no way sidious could have expected Anakin to think he's weak, you have the bodies of three jedi masters in the office , a trail of destruction leading to the shattered window where sidious is throwing a barrage of lightening at mace AND YOU WANT ME TO BELIEVE SIDIOUS IS PLAYING POSSUM WITH MACE ? But the biggest giveaway is that despite the fact that mace and sidious have been fighting, sidious is still alive ! Have you forgotten that mace defeated a battalion of battle droids on dantooine with his bare hands, he created vapaad ( the deadliest lightsaber style) he can see shatterpoints through the force ( which means he can see his opponents weaknesses) he lead the jedi into the geonosis pit where he took off jango fetts head. And in episode 1 when qui gon asks for Anakin to be tested , yoda looks to mace for the final judgment and mace shakes his head and says " bring him before us " so 900 year old yoda looks to mace for wisdom sometimes. I mention this because you act like mace is some wimp. Lucas himself said mace beat sidious , and that yoda and mace are the only ones that can duel with the emperor. You act like sidious is god , but he looses his lightsaber duel with mace and when he shoots lightning mace just deflects it and fries sidious. Sidious definitely lost his duel with yoda because he puts his light saber away and runs away from yoda like a coward and proceeds to throw stuff at him from a distance to avoid dueling with yoda. But yoda chases him and fires up his saber about 3 times ,as if to say " stop running and fight me punk" but cowardly sidious shoots the blade out yodas hand and shoots lightning but yoda just absorbs it with his bare hands like a boss, so the fight ended in a draw because yoga retreated but sidious didn't pursue. And when the clones tell him " there no sign of the body" instead of finishing yoda off , sidious sends his clones after him like a coward. Then in episode 6, he doesn't even try to duel with Luke , he just shoots him with lightning ( which doesn't deform Luke incidentally ) but then get thrown off a cliff by a one armed vader who just got his ass kicked and sidious doesn't even sense it coming. jedimind fudo-myoo in sparring sessions a long time ago the last time dooku dualed mace he lost because mace overpowered him like anakin did and he had to flee but yes back before mace became powerful and before dooku left he beat mace in a sparring session but that doesn’t say much because it’s so long ago and mace windu abilities were underdeveloped
But going up against someone like yoda would be hard he practiced all 7 forms of lightsaber combate but he would have to fall back on form 5 and look for the shatter point of yoda because beating someone of that size would be very hard without the ability
In my canon My Fanon Jedi Salim Prayvus Was able to Master Form VII to Perfection under the tutelage of his Master Mace Windu and Mace was impressed by this because all the others whom he had Taught Vaapad to failed miserably to Use it Salim However Mastered it completely to perfection and after the death Of Mace not only did it had a Great affect on Salim to the Point where he nearly Fell to the Dark Side but chose not to give into it fully, but he was the only known Jedi left in the galaxy to use that variation of form VII after his Master (Mace Windu) Died, and of your wondering yes he also taught that form the Luke Skywalker and The Members Of The New Jedi High Council and They came out Crazy OP for it

Yes, I think Ahsoka will appear in season 4 of Rebels... The creators of the show clearly announced that Maul was dead when he died, but no such comment has been made about Ahsoka.

No he couldn't, not even a chance. It blows my mind how people forget that in the movie palpatine literally told anakin he was a sith lord and that he SHOULD tell the council, he was obviously expecting them and was fully confident in his plan, not to mention he just happens to drop his saber and turn into a weak old man SECONDS before anakin walks into the room. This is clearly Sidious forcing anakin to make a decision, he knew anakin and mace didn't like each other and he also knew that mace was the only jedi that would insist on killing him instead of letting him have a trial, why do you think he killed three masters in a moment and then dueled the last one for several minutes until anakin showed up? He left mace alive on purpose, knowing that anakin would be forced to intervene and stop mace when he insisted on killing him. Mace was the strongest jedi there, yes, but he was not THAT much more powerful than Kit Fisto to have lasted exponentially longer. He goes from "I'm too weak" to "UNLIIIMITED POOOWARRR!!" in a span of seconds. Once anakin committed and cut maces hand off the plan was done, and he no longer had a reason to hide his true self. Also, people seriously overestimate the abilities of Vaapad. From the point of view of Count Dooku, who beat mace windu in a duel ten years before the clone wars and BEFORE he turned to the dark side to harness it's power, and who also uses form 2 Makashi, he said that vaapad was basically a watered down light side version of Juyo, which sidious was a master of, as he was of all forms of lightsaber combat. Palpatine was well aware of the capabilities of all the jedi on the council as he was often the one sending them on missions. This is not at all going into the novelization which pretty much all but directly states that palpatine was drawing out the fight on purpose. And it's funny Mace Windu thought he was drawing on the fear of palpatine to enhace his vaapad but right before he died he realized their was no fear from palpatine, it was actually anakins fear he was using to fuel his vaapad. Palps was never scared, and was in control of the situation the entire time. Honestly, if you read the book and see how hardcore Sidious humbles yoda, I think you would realize he was holding back in this fight because he had a goal, if he intended on killing them he would simply have used force lightning to annihilate them. Even yoda could not use his saber to block lightning from the most powerful sith lord of all time, and had to rely on an old and mostly forgotten technique that only a master like himself could be capable of maintaining. Don't forget Sidious literally incapacitated yoda with a bolt of lightning before he could even react, and then just taunted him until he came to. People think that when he tries to run away in that fight and yoda stops him it's because he afraid to fight yoda or something, but the book explicitly says that he sensed Anakin was in serious danger and he knew he needed to move quickly. In fact, there is a part where the troopers are stunned because no one has ever seen the emperor run before, because palpatine was literally sprinting to the shuttle to leave immediately. Yoda himself states in that fight that he had no chance of winning and that he lost before he was even born, and that basically the best thing he could do with his life is to not die and hide until the skywalker children grow up, then he can teach them the ways of the force and perhaps return peace to the galaxy. He knew if he stayed and fought Sidious, it would mean his death was imminent. Honestly nobody in star wars can compare to the power of sidious, except maybe legends Luke, and it's probably the way it should be. It wouldn't make a lot of sense considering he is the culmination of a thousand years of sith lords refining the art and discovering new secrets. I mean shit, later in his life he was even dissapointed that Vader never tried to kill him and take over, he is as Sith as a Sith lord can be lol. Obi Wan described Anakin as a "Torch" in the force, Dooku described Sidious as a "black hole" in the force.
