thanks! this video and i think two others on youtube were very helpful in making me complete the Billy Miniature Teahouse. This one's good because it helped me on how to deal with mistakes, plus the add-ons and other customizations shown here are also good.

This is terrific! I love how you improvise and add to / alter the base materials to improve the overall model. A very fun watch :D

Thanks so much! I think customizing it a bit made it feel extra special in the end.

Great Video! I got one recently from my trip to Japan and decided it would be quicker to find a how to video,
rather than learn the langauge and stumbled across your video. Glad to know I wasn't the only one that struggled with the display counter top! The custom detailing you added looks great!

Thank you for this video! Very helpful and I used a few of your additions such as the cardstock siding and the silver paint on the corrugated cardboard.
One thing I would suggest to anyone who wants to build this model to save yourself some frustration: use dark brown acrylic paint instead of the stain that's included for the styrofoam. It sticks much better.
Thanks again! This was my first ever model and I was completely intimidated but actually it wasn't that hard and I'm genuinely amazed with how well it turned out.

That's so awesome! I wish I would have thought about the acrylic for the the foam, brilliant! Miniatures can be so addicting, so I hope you have just as much fun with the next one.

I went totally OTT and smooshed 3 shop kits together to make an old fashioned general villiage store for my 1:18th diorama....then I broke my right arm and cant do anything! its driving me crazy! I messed about with the scale a bit to make it fit the fantasy 1800 village I am making with action figures and animals. I have a cool 1:15th Tudor house that I cant assemble yet...fruatration! I subbed by the way being another who cant leave kits in their original form either!
I always love what you do with stuff and this is great as ever!
Love your cat too...I have a Bengal and she has been super naughty since I broke my arm...she is into everything and theres workmens scaffolding around my apartment too at the moment so she has been going out one window and in the next giving me heart attacks!!

I'm so glad I watched your video before I started ☺️ By chance would you sell some of your cricut vinyl letterings for the awnings and stuff? I love how the fabric turned out

What are the items that I absolutely need that are outside of the kit?

Hi, thank you for the amazing video! So helpful!!!
    I am making this 😊🤩
    and loving it!
What did you use for painting the icecream? I found nothing in my package for that.
What do you recommend I use?
And what did you use when you ran out of stain? Is it like ecoline?
Also loved what you did with the flags, but I am not going that far 😅
That tip to scan and print the papers 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
    Never gonna forget that one!

I used some acrylic craft paint I had on-hand and mixed it with white to try and get the right color. I *love* these Billy kits, I'm glad you're enjoying it too :)

It's either "Fluffing a Duck" or "Brain Trust," they were creative commons music ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
