The amount of people who judge this car simply because "Oh it has 4 cylinders" aren't true car enthusiasts and you're just an elitists who doesn't appreciate the technology in cars. Ecoboost is a great 4 banger, and the history of them with Ford is there with the SVO Mustangs in the mid 80's having the same power and torque as the 5.0s of the same year. And they also had them in the 70's as well. The car is great, as are the GTs and the 3.7 cyclone V6. If you judge a car simply based on the amount of cylinders in the engine, then I automatically assume you're a tool who doesn't know what they're talking about

@@DorianDavisddd Then you don't know what an enthusiast is. An enthusiast would appreciate and respect any Mustang regardless of the cylinders or sound. What you're talking about is preference. And of course the V8 is going to sound better than an I4, there's no argument. That's the one thing I wish I could change about my ecoboost is the sound, but a real car enthusiast would respect the ecoboost because of the power it makes for a 4 banger

I just bought a 20017 Ecoboost Mustang with the premium package used in perfect condition .
Yellow tent widows with 74,000 miles .
And I love this car . I would have to say this is the nicest car I have owned . My last car was a V6 Mustang 20013 . It was a great car .but I only had it for a year...
I like all Mustang cars .
But the ecoboost is different. AT FIRST it was strange not to have the Mustang sound like a v8 or v6.
.but my new ecoboost Mustang is much faster than the v6 . More getup and go . And smooth .
The gas malage is great I got 32 highway the other day 200 miles on cruise control 75mph.
And it had lots of power going up mountain hills and passing cars .
This car is great . And I don't know why people are nagtive towards this fantastic car .
Yes it's not a Gt or a shalbe.
But for the money I am really excited about this car .
I picked the car up for 17800..
Less than my V6 and very much more fun to drive .
So if you are looking for a Mustang. And you would like to save some money . Thus car is awesome.
    You will have fun .
    Keep it stock .... it's great .
    Fast enough to get tickets....
I don't need 500 hp . We're can you drive it ???? Like it is made to go fast with out going to jail for reckless driving ..
    Have fun ......😂

I like your openness to all cars, that’s a mature stance. However, I think buying an EcoBoost that’s a few years old is going to be much more reliable than comparable 3 series from around the same year. I’ve had a lot of Fords through my employer as a company car. I got through a brand new Ford about every 18 months and I have personally owned s handful of Mustangs. If you change the oil, tires and other consumables and treat your car with the respect it deserves, this EcoBoost is going to lSt well over 150k miles and beyond. My wife has had a total of 4 BMW’s 1 of the 2 series and 3 of the 3 series. We service it regularly and we have had issues on 2 of the 4 once they hit 50k miles. So, I would disagree with your assessment of reliability and bet on the Ford over the BMW… They are great cars and American built. The Germans are thee best engineers on the planet IMO. NOT just for automobiles but really in many spheres. However, I have found their automobiles reauire additional care above and beyond standard maintenance…

if you can get past the fact that it's a 4 cylinder mustang and that every muscle head is gonna make fun of you for owning it then the ecoboost becomes a great car. The ecoboost hpps are actually faster than 1st gen 2011 mustang gt's with a slightly quicker 0-60 and quarter mile. If the ecoboost mustang was it's own completely different standalone car that was unrelated to the mustang gt I'm convinced it would be praised as a cheap well handling enthusiast car, cause if you look at the stats that's exactly what it is.

Ecoboost Mustangs don’t eco-boom unless you try hard acceleration in low rpms (creating pre-detonation). If you always practice keeping the revs in the power band, i.e., above 2000-6500 rpm you should be fine. I know this because my 2018 has no issues, even with a COBB stage 1+ package installed (CAI and OEM stage 1 tune).

Literally just got finished with a test drive of a 2021 ecoboost today. Let me tell you I had a great time in it… I’m looking for a daily driver and yea sure anyone would pick the V8 over the eco but for my situation of not having my own car and loving mustangs and the eco having great MPG to me it’s a no brainer to side with the eco… it had great torque down low and I had to ask myself “do I even drive fast?” No, so what’s the point of the V8 ? A status symbol? GROW UP. If you have the money then yea, but if not don’t break the bank trying to be like everyone else 🥱

When it comes to the pony cars mustang camaro charger or challenger the reason to get a V8 is because of the value they hold. Especially the durability of the engines. I guarantee those v6 or 4 cylinders will have engine issues in the near future.
Notable issues on this car include overheating, oil leaks and turbocharger failure. Sure it's cheaper, feels decent to drive and it has better mileage but realistically you're going to loose money if you finance a car like this. Unless you buy it cash.

ABSOLUTELY NOT. Fords terrible block design is inexcusable. All 4 cylinder EBs from 2015-2019 are susceptible to head gasket issues because Ford dropped the ball with the spacing between cylinders. Other manufacturers can make high output turbo I4s without blowing head gaskets within 100k miles. Hell, even Ford got it right after 2020. Don’t excuse bad design.

I could never buy a knock off, Mustang or Camaro... At least there will be spare body parts in junk yards 20/30 years from now to pick through.. I saw an all black Mustang the other day it looked so nice then I didn't see it, The GT badge!! Wonk Wonk.. I will never Ever buy a 4 cylinder Turbo ever again. I don't care what they are doing to these cars to make them faster.. They can tune the hell out of them, I'll keep my GT...

You say it's a knock off when they had 4 cylinder turbo Mustangs in the 70's, and brought them back in the mid 80's as the "SVO" which had the same power and torque as the 5.0 Mustangs and weighed less. The history of 4 Cylinder Mustangs is out there, it's not a knock off. To judge a car simply based on how many cylinders it has is just ignorance
