Airbag Helper Kit Install 2014-2018 GMC Sierra

In this video I go through the process of installing an airbag helper kit on a 2014-2018 GMC Sierra/Silverado. The kit can be installed with no modifications; however, I chose to make one modification that I believe is warranted. will this work on the 2500 hd?

I am not 100% sure, but it shouldn’t be that much different. The 2500 has a beefier rear end if I remember correctly, the concept should be very similar.
