Some Americans love you and admire you....ones that have ears! So much of America is wrapped up in simple repetitive boring 2 chord melodic structure that seems to please them? You go guys & girls ...it's a pleasure listening and knowing good music still exist.

They are all Queens but we must congratulate the King Mr. Joan Chamorro, a great man, a great teacher and a fantastic musician. Thank you for bringing those enormous talents to the world of Jazz and never forget musicians that are giving their lives for this project such as Josep Traver and others.
I am so glad you have sent them your message. That is my message, as well. I think there's a secret to playing and singing so beautifully. I think they are all very careful to avoid too many special effects. They don't have a huge orchestra, the vocalists sing in a very relaxed way. They are careful not to push too hard to make a great arrangement. I think Chamorro, Motis, Armengou, and several others are GENIUSES and I am very grateful for them all. Thank you so much!

This is so great! The girls not only sound wonderful, but look gorgeous as well. They've been singing together (off and on) for so long that I think they know exactly where the others are going at any point in time. And their joy is just infectious! I'd love to see more from this concert.

Miraculous, I would say. Someone here recently opinioned that this wasn't a miracle, but had a perfectly logical explanation. But most of feel that Joan, his students and his guest artists are engaged in an artistic endeavor that defies logic. Love and best wishes to all.

Eu sou um fã incondicional aqui de Petrópolis, no RIO, e fico emocionado, com a alta musicalidade dessas meninas . Naturalmente, que o Senhor Joan Chamorro - grande músico e educador - consegue motivá-las muito e o resultado é magnífico. Eu falo esse idioma português todos os dias, mas essas meninas parece que moram aqui ao lado do meu apartamento, que são minhas vizinhas, pois o sotaque delas é 100% carioca/fluminense, ou seja, é o mesmo jeito de falar aqui do Rio de Janeiro. Agradeço muito pelos elegantes momentos. Felicidades com votos de boa saúde a todos dessa esplêndida realidade musical de Barcelona !

This is an utter delight. When singing on her own, singing harmony in a group, playing trumpet or sax; being part of a big band, a small group or whatever, Andrea Motis delivers top quality every time. When this lockdown is over, I would like to see her perform live, preferably with Joan Chamorro and their band.
Apart from the superbly talented musicians in all Joan's videos, what I have to comment on is the sheer joy and happiness they exude. Wonderful, such a pick me up in these hard times.

nothing that was presented is jazz! there is no jazz in Brazilian music. the rhythm is different, the interpretation she copied from the Brazilian ones, the language is Portuguese, in the music it's Brazilian and the only thing which is jazz was improvisation, but improvisation existed in classical for centuries!!
