I also faced a problem with my previous company. with lots of Internal politics in the team , As a fresher I wanted to grew in the team, and did my 100% of efforts in the work. when I asked something to Leads and managers they don't allocate me the work and not treated me a good one, that would causes a major reason for stepped out from company.

Eventhough, leads has helped you, some people (not to be talken about everyone) will brought up with managers that to tell he's depending on someone for help about the work.

You can ask the for Project Release by sending a mail to senior manager or HR. I was released like that.
