I worked with Accenture for 6 years and quit last month. First 3 years was soo good, it was like reliving my college life as I had good worklife balance with very less stress. Next 3 years the management changed and they made the simple work process more complicated. The worklife balance became stressful like hell. Some collegues even got heart problems because of the stress, and it was getting to me so I had to quit.
Damn, I joined Accenture thinking it is a great opportunity for me as I was working in a mid-sized organization before as a graphic designer. But soon it turned grey for me as I was interviewed on the basis of my profile and the JD that they have shared ( Associate Graphic Designer) but later when I got the offer letter it mentioned Operations Associate which had nothing to do with graphic designing. The training and production is nowhere related to what I have done so far, that along with the virtual onboarding was horrible. So far, my experience with Accenture is bad and tbh, everyone needs transparency when it comes to joining a new organization. I'm on probation and I have started applying else where. Hoping for the best.
Same I filled a form regarding "Finance associate - Record to report" but they changed it to "Bangalore - Workforce Services (Workforce Management)" I'm done with screening round yesterday tomorrow I'll be going through Self Assessment Test and HR round later.
Am joined 4 months back it's really stressful , I applied for HR operations but I got operations 💀 really I can't handle as fresher I don't have any choice I need to stay 😭
If they want they will call multiple times. If we are having any problems related to documentation in accenture or any doubts they never pick up calls.
This video is so relatable. Even I didn't join Accenture and chose a mid cap IT over them just because of the communication gap between the hiring team and the candidate. My revised offer letter was the same as the original offer and even after requesting to cancel candidature because I might join at a later point of time, I kept on receiving mails and finally my talent coach contacted me after I already onboarded with another company.
It seems to me that nowadays it is quite normal to leave large companies with high salaries for a company with slightly better conditions. I experienced the differences first hand when I compared offers from employers on Talent Service and went to the company I currently work for.

I am also experienced the same ..at some extent Even i decided to not to join them even though it's my dream company..!! but only joining bonus make me to stay back with them 😜..!! Accenture was a very good company until 2018. Once its CEO Pierre Nanterm died, the company was taken over by some American and UK CEO Julie Sweet, the Lay off culture started.

I worked with Accenture for last 5.5 years. Initially it was good for 3 years. But the work life balance is not good. On Last 3 years lots of TL changed, SME changed and even Managers also left the job on same team.. Something is wrong with Accenture I guess. When I opted for IJP, the internal hiring team is not active. IJP works with referral between managers and resources. I quit my job in Accenture.(even I was moved to another project by reference by manager and I dropped paper(as savage moment)...
I have worked in Accenture Recruitment team, and this video triggered me a lot😂. There is a separate team for joining process. For example I was working in coordination team and our responsibilities are limited to that. Once the candidate cleared the skill interview, there is a separate team called documentation team they are suppose to connect with candidate and assist them to do all the documentation related activities. So sometimes we get calls from candidate for the quarries s related to documentation, we really don't know much about that process so usually inform the candidate to wait till get a call from documentation team or I ask them to drop a mail to me so I shared that with documentation team. Only few people does that most of my colleagues doesn't attend the calls from candidate once they clear the first round as our responsibility is limited till that. So they disconnect the calls some even block the candidate. But I have never done that to any candidate as I have gone through the same situation before. So I always try to be more kind and professional

May i ask something? I got an offer in Thailand and the recruiter said Accenture will apply and cover visa payment. But the one handling my visa said the payment will be individual on the spot at the embassy. And i was shocked and confused as it was different from what i've been informed. I looked into google n ppl say it will be reimburse. But i didnt get any information about it. And do accenture also reimburse the flight tickets?
Probably its very pathetic for you But for me its not like that. I given one round of technical interview. After 10 minutes i got the mail that you are selected for HR round. After 1 week i got the HR call and it was just 5 minutes call through mobile. She asked me few thing about my previous company and asked my expectations. I told the number and after 3 days I got the link to fill the form. They asked me 6 months salary slip of my previous to previous company. I think this is because of PF passbook was not available on epf india as the company was a trusty. I submitted randomly 6 months salary slip and then i asked them can I put my paper now. The recruiter said OK. Then I resigned. They released offer after 30 minutes and the number was above my expectations. I had asked 35% they given me 78%. I was happy and since I am happy now also. So moral of the story is its differ from recruiter to recruiter.
Actually hats off to Accenture work Policy rules really i loved it...but people in recent management where I worked felt very worst...when we gave new idea to make work easy but management lead said that "work will become easy with good quality though how can i give hikes and appraisals to all if everyone start working good".. So his motivation bothers only ABT hikes and financial needs but not business or client needs...
I tried to apply for two to three job that matches my skills and abilities. But ,three months ago I applied for a position I didn't received any interview update on that job role. Now while applying for different jobs,my application isn't supporting saying that we had your data that we gathered from your last application .
You are very correct they don't pick calls. My interview was rescheduled 5 times.. for the first time it was like I got a mail of interview but without the link to join the interview. I called the HRs multiple times and I was like asking them i don't receive link to join and after 30 mins they told it was some scheduling team issue and rescheduled it for the next week. The second time on the day of interview i got a reminder mail in the morning saying i have an interview scheduled and later that day just before an hour before the interview they cancelled that interview. I also recieved a mail to finish the test in 2 days and rescheduled the interview after the test. But unfortunately test links were also not available in either the mail or in my Candidate profile. I mailed the team saying the same with screenshots and asked for the link for test. Still no response.. Again in the morning of the interview day some person called me to say to finish the test before interview.. i then explained him the situation and told him I already sent a detailed mail with screenshots and tried calling but I dint get any response. He told he will check and revert back. No more response from him also. It was already my slot and I joined using the link they provided this time and was waiting in the lobby for next 20 mins and then I left as no one came... after 30 mins they called and ask if the interview was done I said no i waited 20 mins and then left and also told I sent the mail to the HRs reg the same. They told the interviewer was on leave. Again they rescheduled for the 4th time and later they preponed it and Got a mail of interview for the 5th time. I was like really mad at them and refused. I was no more ready for another waiting. The people at Accenture are really like irresponsible.. if this is the situation before joining itself then how can we trust and join. trust me this is the best decision you took by not joining them

If you would have joined Accenture, then you would have found out that they take this attitude to the next level. So many jargons and no single person knows everything. People don't even know the abbreviations, which are used extensively.
First of all I think we both got selected in the same month and I think you got onboarding calls on the same month as of me. As by the recruitment process they have asked in interview also that flexible to work from anywhere, Secondly after that also they give chance to change loc.. I have changed my location to bengaluru from hyderabad and the things you mentioned are small discrepancies which will cleared after you join. As accenture is one of the companies who hasn't asked thier employees to wfo, your location could be easily changed withing those few months. I have changed it easily and it changed like in 1 day. But best wishes for your future endeavor but yes I agree that they were late in giving offers, but after joining not a ounce they left us in problem. Good luck
Similar case happened with me. They took 3 rounds of interview of Japanese, Salesforce & Managerial. I have 3 years of work experience. They didn't call me for a discussion for location and salary expectations. They just randomly issued an offer letter with a very low package. They want a bilingual developer but don't even bother to ask for salary expectations.

I attended Technical Interview last Saturday. within half n hr or less I got congratulation, you made it to HR mail and asked to fill in EAF and documents. i was not having one certificate with me, so I uploaded the remaining all doc on Monday and they told me to write a letter that I'm going to submit it on next day and I did that. the next day (Tuesday)my candidature was put on hold in the candidate profile.I thought it might be due to the doc that was left. After submitting the doc still, it is showing on hold. When I called POC after calling many times and dropping emails she told me that my profile was not selected by the client and the process will not move further. Don't know why the profile is still on hold and giving hope to people.

Same issue with me. They took the documents, put the position on hold and then disappeared. No calls, no response to calls or mails, and the candidature was on hold for a long time. I stopped checking after a month.
@@nmcreations1705 while applying itself we will give preferences right . So in my case, Hyd is my first preference and Chennai is my third preference ..they have given Chennai which I don't want... So while they sent link address to delivery company laptop I have sent an email stating same . It worked me and they changed it.. Even after joining within 6 months many of my trainingmates changed their base location easily... And I recently heard, it's tough to change office location once we completed one year and we started working in projects..
Why is accenture a dream company for someone. Accenture is just an IT services company. There is nothing special about them. If you say your dream company is Microsoft, Google, Apple, Intel etc its understandable. Those are global technology companies that everyone knows.
So, you did not join Accenture because they were not negotiate, not because of other reasons that you mentioned in this video. You would have joined them happily if they have revised your compensation.
That is just a point of declining offer politely as I was not ready to join, I was knowing that the offer which I was getting that Accenture will not going to negotiate again because they already negotiated and provided best as per there budget so the reason was just the irresponsiveness nothing else
I have been working with Accenture since last 3 years, in IT industry since 2012, so almost a decade - and I disagree with you on so many points that I cannot even cover on a comment section, so I will just say this - I am not sure if you are a fresher or experienced candidate (the way you dealt and reacted to the issue, most likely a fresher), you need to be very patient when it comes to getting hired - bigger companies like Amazon for AWS , Microsoft, Apple even takes 7 month or more. Once you receive offer letter, the cumbersome onboarding process has just started and you will learn this later in your career, there would be a lot of documentation and correction and recorrection - AND NO - NO COMPANY RECRUITER WOULD RESPOND TO YOU IN ONE OR TWO DAYS - Accenture has a capacity of 7 lakh employees world wide - they hired over 2 lakh employees in just 2020 - 2022 period - if you expect HR to be able to respond to you in one or two days - you have no idea how hiring works. You always wait at least a week before a follow up email and then again you wait for a week, and when the time comes and it comes to onboarding, they would be more than eager to contact you and onboard you and welcom you. TCS dropped my candidature and did not even inform me - HCL - can care less if you are hired or you resign These two are the companies I have direct personal experience and there are many stories shared by my friends working in other tech giants both Indian and foreign based - almost all of them struggles to update candidate in time - because HIRING IS A LENGTHY AND TEDIOUS process. ONE day you will understand. You are right , patience is must in this case , I have waited about a month to be onboarded. Onboarding process is a long journey, need to fill so many documents and need to overcome background verification process etc etc … but after all, the work life in Accenture will be good and the company will honour with good amount of hikes every year

Just to update in Accenture u can directly Change ur location without needing anyone's approval.... As soon as u apply for location change in portal u will be getting a date from which ur new location will be effective. All these things will be conveyed to u after joining. Even I was in ur shoes when I joined (no one responding to the queries )but later I changed it to Bangalore without needing anyone's approval. Point to be noted:- Accenture's Pre joining team sucks 😞
Cap Gemini recruitment team used beep words when i waited for 6 months after selection mail. Cap Gemini is even worse. Yet I joined it and the work environment is the most todic thing in the world. 8am to 10pm,continuously in front of camera.
In my experience too my recruiter never picked up the call and most of the time he used to cut the call but better thing was He used to reply me in mail.
This problem is not with Accenture . It is with cognizant , capgimini and other mnc also . There recruiters and HR does not respond. Really they should work on there recruiting system .

Even same happening with me, please guide me.. the gave me offer letter i wasnot happy with the compensation so i shared the counter offer i had and the hr is just delaying that why are you worried we will propose our best no. Now only 10 days are left and I don’t have idea about the new salary structure. I did not accept the Deloitte’s offer letter with fear of what will be the impact if I accept it and not join it. I had word with Deloitte’s Manager so i did not accept it 😢.. the hr in Accenture is so irresponsible irritating and what not. Whenever she picks up the call she just tries to cut it in few seconds.

I joined in July’22 it’s been 3 months, 12 hours of initial shift everyday and managers expects you to login during weekends and during month end 18 hours and 20 hours of work no work life balance.
@@jatinsharma4847 OMG, for me 9.30 hrs shift but sometimes we need to extend shift hrs to complete production. But there s lot off communication gap nd rules and regulations. Oru project require attention for 7.30 hrs daily
These issues can be sorted out. I REJECTED their offer two times just in fear of PIP. that is their exit process.5% ppl per SUB horizontal are terminated . But they offer you highest salary as a service co.

Well it totally depends on luck i can i wrote my assets on june 1st week, had interview on june 20, got LOI on july 14, completed all my modules on 29th August, i got offer letter on August 15... After that it depends on luck, it was all blank till jan 24 2022 the day my Accenture started. So pretty much luck sometimes

There are two types of hiring first one bench hiring and second one project hiring if it is related to project hiring then it will be much faster. in the interview you can ask if it is project or bench hiring. The answer will help you to understand how soon they will hire you. For project specific hiring, compensation will always be higher and also your location is confirmed

Probably it was an indeed decision because location is must to be clarified and should be correct at the very first time. Such good process oriented companies take a lot of time for any discrepancy updations.

Yes, they just dont' pick up the calls as they may be getting hundreds of calls. They might be least bothered because there are thousands of applications with them to select. So it doesn't affect them at all.
One person called me for PF validation in Accenture. He was pure shit he treated me like I'm on the road and asked him to feed my stomach. So rude and I'm hesitant to join.
I just joined Accenture, before onboarding I called my HR she was not responding for weeks, But I already decided that I will not accept this offer until they replied to me and not resigned my current company as well, so one day after 2 weeks they called me regarding am I going to accept the offer or not, I also felt not to join because of this delayed in response issue, and this is with everyone, finally I joined Accenture. No, It's a hit & trial policy of hiring firms and HR department of firms Bcoz they write something on mails & act quite different on management pressure or a tactical way to say shortlisted /selected candidates.

After the document verification,Accenture tooks seven days to release the offer letter and in some cases more than that may be 10 or 15 days . There are also several cases where Accenture took months or more than that to release OF.
Before joining there are lot of process to be followed so i shared that and for better clarification i was not knowing before that I'll not going to join Accenture, that decision has been took later point of time, thanks for watching 👍

Hi, I am also suffering because of Accenture, I had applied to QA at Accenture so they contacted me seeing my profile and guided me to apply for Career Reboot program for woman as i had 2 years of gap in IT . Then i applied, Now its around 3 months and i still didn't get any response. The woman who contacted me and asked me to apply, when i called her to give an update, she literally block me on call! i am like what?? And when i text her she is wantedly not seeing my msgs and not responding. (Its not like i kept calling her every other day, i called her after waiting for 1 month) Now she just texting asking me to contact internship team not her! And how is that possible? She is the only point of contact. Then she asking me whether i have received the assessment or not? Which i have not received. She is just simply saying i have forwarded your details to internship team you will get an update. I asked her to give any contact of internship team...for which she is not responding. Its around 3 months and its depressing to wait

Once the candidate cleared the skill interview, there is a separate team called documentation team they are suppose to connect with candidate and assist them to do all the documentation related activities. So sometimes we get calls from candidate for the quarries s related to documentation, we really don't know much about that process so usually inform the candidate to wait till get a call from documentation team or I ask them to drop a mail to me so I shared that with documentation team. Only few people does that most of my colleagues doesn't attend the calls from candidate once they clear the first round as our responsibility is limited till that. So they disconnect the calls some even block the candidate. But I have never done that to any candidate as I have gone through the same situation before. So I always try to be more kind and professional

May i ask something? I got an offer in Thailand and the recruiter said Accenture will apply and cover visa payment. But the one handling my visa said the payment will be individual on the spot at the embassy. And i was shocked and confused as it was different from what i've been informed. I looked into google n ppl say it will be reimburse. But i didnt get any information about it. And do accenture also reimburse the flight tickets?
Probably its very pathetic for you But for me its not like that. I given one round of technical interview. After 10 minutes i got the mail that you are selected for HR round. After 1 week i got the HR call and it was just 5 minutes call through mobile. She asked me few thing about my previous company and asked my expectations. I told the number and after 3 days I got the link to fill the form. They asked me 6 months salary slip of my previous to previous company. I think this is because of PF passbook was not available on epf india as the company was a trusty. I submitted randomly 6 months salary slip and then i asked them can I put my paper now. The recruiter said OK. Then I resigned. They released offer after 30 minutes and the number was above my expectations. I had asked 35% they given me 78%. I was happy and since I am happy now also. So moral of the story is its differ from recruiter to recruiter.

Actually hats off to Accenture work Policy rules really i loved it...but people in recent management where I worked felt very worst...when we gave new idea to make work easy but management lead said that "work will become easy with good quality though how can i give hikes and appraisals to all if everyone start working good"..

I tried to apply for two to three job that matches my skills and abilities. But ,three months ago I applied for a position I didn't received any interview update on that job role. Now while applying for different jobs,my application isn't supporting saying that we had your data that we gathered from your last application .

You are very correct they don't pick calls. My interview was rescheduled 5 times.. for the first time it was like I got a mail of interview but without the link to join the interview. I called the HRs multiple times and I was like asking them i don't receive link to join and after 30 mins they told it was some scheduling team issue and rescheduled it for the next week. The second time on the day of interview i got a reminder mail in the morning saying i have an interview scheduled and later that day just before an hour before the interview they cancelled that interview. I also recieved a mail to finish the test in 2 days and rescheduled the interview after the test. But unfortunately test links were also not available in either the mail or in my Candidate profile. I mailed the team saying the same with screenshots and asked for the link for test. Still no response..
Again in the morning of the interview day some person called me to say to finish the test before interview.. i then explained him the situation and told him I already sent a detailed mail with screenshots and tried calling but I dint get any response. He told he will check and revert back. No more response from him also. It was already my slot and I joined using the link they provided this time and was waiting in the lobby for next 20 mins and then I left as no one came... after 30 mins they called and ask if the interview was done I said no i waited 20 mins and then left and also told I sent the mail to the HRs reg the same. They told the interviewer was on leave. Again they rescheduled for the 4th time and later they preponed it and Got a mail of interview for the 5th time. I was like really mad at them and refused. I was no more ready for another waiting. The people at Accenture are really like irresponsible.. if this is the situation before joining itself then how can we trust and join. trust me this is the best decision you took by not joining them

First of all I think we both got selected in the same month and I think you got onboarding calls on the same month as of me. As by the recruitment process they have asked in interview also that flexible to work from anywhere, Secondly after that also they give chance to change loc.. I have changed my location to bengaluru from hyderabad and the things you mentioned are small discrepancies which will cleared after you join. As accenture is one of the companies who hasn't asked thier employees to wfo, your location could be easily changed withing those few months. I have changed it easily and it changed like in 1 day. But best wishes for your future endeavor but yes I agree that they were late in giving offers, but after joining not a ounce they left us in problem. Good luck

Similar case happened with me. They took 3 rounds of interview of Japanese, Salesforce & Managerial. I have 3 years of work experience. They didn't call me for a discussion for location and salary expectations.

I attended Technical Interview last Saturday. within half n hr or less I got congratulation, you made it to HR mail and asked to fill in EAF and documents. i was not having one certificate with me, so I uploaded the remaining all doc on Monday and they told me to write a letter that I'm going to submit it on next day and I did that. the next day (Tuesday)my candidature was put on hold in the candidate profile.I thought it might be due to the doc that was left. After submitting the doc still, it is showing on hold. When I called POC after calling many times and dropping emails she told me that my profile was not selected by the client and the process will not move further. Don't know why the profile is still on hold and giving hope to people.

Same issue with me. They took the documents, put the position on hold and then disappeared. No calls, no response to calls or mails, and the candidature was on hold for a long time. I stopped checking after a month.

Why is accenture a dream company for someone. Accenture is just an IT services company. There is nothing special about them. If you say your dream company is Microsoft, Google, Apple, Intel etc its understandable. Those are global technology companies that everyone knows.

That is just a point of declining offer politely as I was not ready to join, I was knowing that the offer which I was getting that Accenture will not going to negotiate again because they already negotiated and provided best as per there budget so the reason was just the irresponsiveness nothing else

I have been working with Accenture since last 3 years, in IT industry since 2012, so almost a decade - and I disagree with you on so many points that I cannot even cover on a comment section, so I will just say this - I am not sure if you are a fresher or experienced candidate (the way you dealt and reacted to the issue, most likely a fresher), you need to be very patient when it comes to getting hired - bigger companies like Amazon for AWS , Microsoft, Apple even takes 7 month or more. Once you receive offer letter, the cumbersome onboarding process has just started and you will learn this later in your career, there would be a lot of documentation and correction and recorrection - AND NO - NO COMPANY RECRUITER WOULD RESPOND TO YOU IN ONE OR TWO DAYS - Accenture has a capacity of 7 lakh employees world wide - they hired over 2 lakh employees in just 2020 - 2022 period - if you expect HR to be able to respond to you in one or two days - you have no idea how hiring works. You always wait at least a week before a follow up email and then again you wait for a week, and when the time comes and it comes to onboarding, they would be more than eager to contact you and onboard you and welcom you.
TCS dropped my candidature and did not even inform me -

You are right , patience is must in this case , I have waited about a month to be onboarded. Onboarding process is a long journey, need to fill so many documents and need to overcome background verification process etc etc … but after all, the work life in Accenture will be good and the company will honour with good amount of hikes every year

Just to update in Accenture u can directly Change ur location without needing anyone's approval.... As soon as u apply for location change in portal u will be getting a date from which ur new location will be effective.
All these things will be conveyed to u after joining.
Even I was in ur shoes when I joined (no one responding to the queries )but later I changed it to Bangalore without needing anyone's approval.

Now only 10 days are left and I don’t have idea about the new salary structure. I did not accept the Deloitte’s offer letter with fear of what will be the impact if I accept it and not join it. Well it totally depends on luck i can i wrote my assets on june 1st week, had interview on june 20, got LOI on july 14, completed all my modules on 29th August, i got offer letter on August 15... After that it depends on luck, it was all blank till jan 24 2022 the day my Accenture started. So pretty much luck sometimes

There are two types of hiring first one bench hiring and second one project hiring if it is related to project hiring then it will be much faster. in the interview you can ask if it is project or bench hiring. The answer will help you to understand how soon they will hire you. For project specific hiring, compensation will always be higher and also your location is confirmed
Onboarding depends on the date of joining, you just need to have all the documents with you properly so that the onboarding process will be easy .

Hi, I am also suffering because of Accenture, I had applied to QA at Accenture so they contacted me seeing my profile and guided me to apply for Career Reboot program for woman as i had 2 years of gap in IT . Then i applied, Now its around 3 months and i still didn't get any response. The woman who contacted me and asked me to apply, when i called her to give an update, she literally block me on call! i am like what?? And when i text her she is wantedly not seeing my msgs and not responding. (Its not like i kept calling her every other day, i called her after waiting for 1 month)
