Nothing like giving myself some unrealistic expectations and seeing myself up for fair and disappointment first this Christmas morning 🤣 In all seriousness though, this is amazing. Congratulations on doing so much beautiful work.
Just happened to stumble upon this video, I don't know why, but after having watched it, I was overwelmed and started crying. How much dedication and love in the art of woodwork. I absolutally love it! I guess there is no price for it, it's too beautiful to give away, but i sure would love to have it as well❤
I have watched this video 5 times. 1st to see your artistry and how you did it and another 4 to enjoy you making it. Using these specific hand tools in 2020 is truly a dying art and you do it with such ease and grace.
No lo hice porque es hecho a medida a las bolsas de té que compro en Croacia. Igualmente sacas medidas pronto con tu necesidad. Es muy sencillo. Saludos
That's incredible skill you have! One question. Is the drawer bottom plywood? If not, won't it expand and break the drawer open if it isn't a floating drawer bottom? Or is it too small to matter?
Thank you. You made some great observations. I have made the bottoms from plywood so I can eliminate the problem you stated. There is a solution with solid wood and that is by using quarter sawn stock which expands/contracts only in thickness but that has its own cons as well. Cheers
Hi Mila, It is very small amount of wood used for this. 2 boards of oak 15x250cm and 2 pieces of 8mm and one 4mm plywood. I have no measures but it is simple to draw and calculate what you need and customize it to your needs. Greetings from Croatia
Beautiful work and something, for some reason, I want to build for myself. There's something about apothecary cabinets that intrigue me. Did you keep the one you built to use for yourself?
Zdravo! ;) Pitanje... in english so others will understand... Dewalt saw... i am thinking of buying this one ... but i heard it is really loud... ( they all are i guess...) since you work in appartment building ... is the loudness an issue? and sice you are in Croatia ( where execly?)where do you order stuff... chisels, planes, saws, machines... we have limited offer here and i assume in croatia also ... so i look all the options for delivery from abroad... EU mostly since there is no import tax ... tnx and good luck ... čaaaooo
Hi Miha, I get majority of my hand tools from: fine-tools.com Power tools from Italian or German amazon, but also from local hardware stores (Bauhaus, Pevec) Here is DW 745: amzn.to/2FLVJy7 All contractor saws will be loud as they are brushed motors with direct drive. Saw is loud but it is high tone which is not that bad. Whereas hammer blows are very loud when assembling, or chiseling something. Vibration sound is the problem.

Man! You did an incredible job on that! Tell me you're proud of that cabinet! I want to make one and I don't even need one!
Thank you! I’m really proud of this one. Make one, you won’t regret it. Cheers

Thank you Maria for your kind words. We use it every day and we love it. Best regards from Croatia

Thank you very much Roderick. Luckily there are more people doing this by hand, but still far less than it used to be. Kind regards from Croatia
I love the effect the dark furniture wax gives this piece. Well done!
Amazing!!! The amount of work here is unbelievable!
Amazing job Andrea! All those drawers... love the grain flowing from one drawer to the other! Love it!
I must have missed this has to be a labor of love with so much detail in joinery... Congrats on a job well done... Greg
Ridiculous craftsmanship, must have taken en eternity. You must be overjoyed with how it came out. Well done.
Eternity for me was 2 months. Overjoyed is understatement :)
Thank you for encouraging words, I'm really proud with this cabinet.
Wow, that's some serious craftsmanship! Very well done, Sir!
Thank you very much Steve, maybe I'll reach your level of woodworking one day :)
What a magnificent vid. And as always Andrea, you make it look so easy. You're an inspiration mate. Thanks so much.
That's a helluva lot of work but an amazing result. Congratulations.
Wow, this is amazing. What a wonderful work. Congratulation Andrea!
Thank you Stephan! Cheers
I recognize a lot of Lee Valley tools there. But I'm really jealous that you scored a Record bench vise, before they stopped being made.
I didn't know they were stopped. Lee Valley Veritas are okay but Lie Nielsen are (IMO) better made.
So much love for this project -- someday I will make one!
I was wondering if I could buy one such piece from you. The size, design and build of this one is just perfect for what I need in my office.
Yes it is possible but this would cost about €2000 to make. Best regards from Croatia
Wow,, that's really nice,, good job
Good show
love the matching of the drawer fronts,, nice detail
Very complex build but wonderfully done!

Hi! Would you be able to tell me how many boards of each kind of wood you used? Basing off your Kit list

Que trabajo tan bueno, y se requiere mucha paciencia para hacer todo eso

Hi Freddy,
Thank you for your kind words.
I made it for our family and we use it everyday as we store tea inside the drawers.
@@AndreaArzensek Ah... thanks for letting me know. My wife is a tea lover but we don't have the counter space... YET! All the best - Freddy
That's just insane! How many hours did you spend making these drawers? 😳😳😳
A lot of hours, completely worth it!
Oh I forgot to ask, what was the little mandolin piece at the end? Did you make that too?
My brother played it. Cheers
Andrea's Workshop it's super little tune, has he posted it on TH-cam? I'd certainly like to hear more (and try to learn it!).
Thanks Mark, he has the music available on his Patreon page: www.patreon.com/EpicWorkshop
