Keep making your Mirage videos. Back in 2020, I was looking into buying a Mirage (manual, white), but dealer would not make a deal, so I bought a 2020 Chevy Spark manual. I'm happy and happy you are also driving a fun to drive car too! From Florida.
I've got a 2018 Mirage with just a bit over 141,000 kms and it's been a great commuter. Mine's a 5 speed also and I think that makes a big difference in how well that little motor behaves. Sadly, they're not bringing the 5 speeds into the US anymore and its even getting hard to find the Mirage hatch now. We're buying my wife a new Mirage this summer but the local dealers are only stocking the G4's. Glad to find a channel that not saying the Mirage is the worst car ever.
1:30, all the reviewers are trashing this car especially saying how it's very loud. And when you open that door, holy moly, that's some top notch sound isolation.
Keep in mind that I've had my door treated with sound damping material when I had the stereo installed. I agree that way too many reviewers bash this car.
Hey man, I'd really like to thank you for making these reviews, a lot of other reviews I've seen compare the mirage to really weird way out cars like a Land Rover Defender (?) or driver oriented cars like the Miata. Your videos have definitely strengthened my confidence in my decision to get a Mirage when I pay off all the work I had to get done to my crappy used cars.
I have a Nissan Kicks. It is only seven months old, and I have two or three of those places like you showed, where my paint chipped off as I cleaned the car of dirt and small bird droppings. None of the last three cars I've owned have had lasting paint jobs. I ordered in a little bottle of paint to touch those areas. I also agree with you that white cars really show the dirt. My Nissan is white. However, I have black plastic around the wheels, so that area stays clean. I've seen videos on the Mirage. I like it. The style reminds me of Nissan.
Here in Thailand very popular. Also the sedan version called Attrage. Love the car. Only how they mount the back camera in the US is awful. Hete it's a little tiny camera knob above the number plate. Enjoy your car!!

'22 is the last year the manual was sold in the U.S., Canada got it for the '23s, and neither option of the Mirage will likely be available new in North America after next year as Mitsubishi is electrifying the lineup and NA has abandoned the subcompact sedan market for crossover SUVs for years now.
Agreed. At the same time, I see their point, especially when they are in and out of cars that cost more and are better finished. Kinda like comparing a McDonalds cheeseburger to a Gordon Ramsey filet! Yet, millions of people eat at McDonalds. And, everybody who owns a Mirage loves it for what it is.
If I may why do you install the Rock guard for the front maybe that will and may make the car look more sporty thank you for the great content I currently own a 23 Mirage SE and trying to learn more about it ..
did you know you van add turning light on that fender... also how the car economy dose the hot summer...not much here in the Middle East with temperature at 47c
From my local tire shop. Brand is DAI, model is A-Spec, and they're sold across Canada. Do a Google search for DAI Wheels, and you should find their website easily

Even in Canada, the manual is no longer available for the 2024 model year
“There are alternatives to the usual.” I couldn’t agree more. Quirkiness is preferred.
I bought my 23 mirage and I am satisfied with 53 mpg.. only CVT transmissions are for sale.. but not a problem with the warranty
I couldn’t find a manual Mirage near me, so I bought a 2021 Spark. Love it.
Service the CVT every 20-40k and you will be good.

I am looking for a 2023 model, but in grey, and yes of course, 5sp man! I had a 2015 and was really happy with it.

Me too, runs nice on the CVT after you get used to it. I change the oil and filter every 20k miles on the CVT

I may install a bug deflector in the spring, and consider some type of protective film for the front bumper.

I don't think so, but I'm sure the manuals get snapped up pretty quick if a dealer has inventory
