What a game. Very high tempo. Sparta were very good moving the puck but it was Sheffields night. Not sure what the power breaks were about, they spoilt it a bit, but still, wow. What a result. Very tense. Entertainment at its best. Well done all players and supporters. What a night! Lets go Steelers....
This is a massive success, but why are the nets in disgusting condition on the 1st home game of the season? Honestly; it's a really bad impression of the state of the game in the UK.....no money, no tv coverage yet a gain this season & the EIHL league could collapse at any point.
Who are you? We have game coverage for everygame in the eihl, and there was coverage of our home chl games too! Our ice is brand new and our team dominated, “no money” compared to the money prague fans spent to watch their team get thrashed 😅😅
The only impression you need to worry about is the on-ice product. I'm sure the reason the likes of Greenfield, Ciampini and Balmas chose not to go to Europe this season isn't based on the state of nets.
Sadly british icehockey are shooting them self's in the foot by letting the EHL teams have 18 imports how are you gonna develop british icehockey when you rely so hard on import players to carry you in this tournament. I hope the Steelers is an outlier when it comes to having excessive imports but sadly I don't think that's the case. Enjoy your success in the CHL but remember that all success has price and the price british hockey will pay is that the development of home grown british take a big hit it will be decades before you have a talent like Like Liam kirk. The owner of the Steelers said that the truth is that aren't enough british born players who are good enough to play in the EHL and that's bad because this is the exact reason team GB will an elevator team going up and down in the world championships it could have been different if the fans and the owners of EHL clubs was as shortsighted where only short term success matters. No other hockey leagues in Europe have as many imports as the British EHL congratulations on your success in the ehl.
Because of the introduction of 2 way contracts and minimum British player boundaries being imposed meaning young and upcoming players get experience in the league well before they’re ready to join it fully and get experience working with some great European level players as a pose to before when they were stuck in the nihl until a team was injured enough to say sod it and bring one of them in for 3 games then send them back down and that being considered “development”. Way better system now
@@melissaparsons2144 liam kirk left to US then now in europe but isnt getting the game time he did in sheffield, maybe keep them longer to help them develop more??
Games like this will make the CHL a succes
Steelers fans are amazing! Well done and congratz on the win!

What a time to be a Steelers fan, Greenfield is solid in goal! 🧡
The most physical game of the season so far. 2 players ejected and 3 who got hit in the face and even the ref got hurt by the puck
GREENFIELD THE GOAT!!!! Let’s gooooo STEELERS 🧡🧡🧡🧡
Greenfield the GOAT 🗣🗣🗣
Steelers were electric. Greenfield what a game!
Greenfield is literally NHL standard. I'm so glad he decided to stay Orange and another season.
Comeeeee on the boys roll on 25th ❤
And roll on 15th 😂
That ice looks like Post Malone’s face

To many imports, getting rid of sam jones was a big shock too
@@Rich1e_PSam Jones progressed to Europe. Are you saying we hold back Brits development to promote Brits development??
What are your thoughts on the two way contracts for Brits this year?
