I hope I can pass USMLE I Don't have a job,I am 36 years old all my dreams related to USMLE,if I can choose between my life and USMLE I would choose USMLE
USMLE exam is so difficult & I don't know the reason why it should be?
USMLE exam won't be a problem if you work with someone like Mrs Maria Madison .she's God sent,she saved me form talking the test for the 3rd time

Ok why do we literally have *identical* experiences all the time lol, I hated that older students said we shouldn’t even worry about step 1 since it’s P/F now - total BS!! Thanks so much for the s/o, you’re awesome and couldn’t agree more with everything you said! 💕
To those reading the comments (not as much to the one and only Medical B -- PS thank you so much for posting this video), something I have found helpful is to read the final question FIRST. Doing this allows you to formulate answers and ideas in your head as you go through the vignette/charts and will also help you weed through the nonsense.
Awww “the one and only medicalB” - I appreciate you 🥺🥺 also I totally agree! With longer questions, I’ve been reading the question first before skimming through the rest of the vignette. This saves me so much time on the shelf exams!
yess i used uworld to study for the nclex and it was super helpful! i love how they set it up to mimic the actual test! also your new apartment is so nice!! :)

Great video! I really appreciate that you noted how your in-house material and exams likely has prepared you well for real-life doctoring. I see so many people saying "can't I just study for boards and become a doctor?" And I just want to scream at all these internet people and say REAL LIFE IS NOT A 1 MINUTE WRITTEN VIGNETTE QUESTION WHERE THE ANSWERS ALREADY LEAN NEURO! EXACTLY!!! Real life medical practice isn’t going to be like the super rare stuff that’s on the boards! Answering a vignette doesn’t teach you how to talk through complicated situations or how to be relatable or compassionate! The nails look good from afar but they’re actually kinda crusty hahaha thank you though!

The new apartment seems really nice from what can be seen in the background. Really good advice about not listening to other people btw, I've had to learn it the hard way. But I'm sure you passed, don't worry.

Ugh motivation.. waxes and wanes. Can’t depend on motivation to get things done! Just gotta be disciplined and do your best. It’s tough out here haha
I think that is the best way to sum it up. We aren't always motivated, but it is the discipline and routine that pushes us through to be successful. What is something you do when you're stressed?
@@JasonKrastein I wish you asked me this question sooner!! I just filmed and edited my Q&A yesterday and I would’ve loved to include this! But I’ll just answer it here lol when I’m stressed, sometimes I cry. Sometimes I just close my eyes and take deep breaths and remember that this feeling is temporary. I ALWAYS listen to music!!! And I ALWAYS listen to my body and give it the break that it needs to watch some TH-cam videos, Netflix, or work out! Having Eric around for a hug and to talk me down is also helpful. ☺️

Hahaha thank you so much!! I always try to keep it as honest and raw as possible so you guys have a good idea of what your experience might be like. Hopefully my advice will help you out ☺️ as for results, I don’t get the usmle results until July 6; aka 2 MONTHS AFTER I TOOK IT. I hate it lol

Hi, I honestly think I might not be qualified to advise you on how to move forward. I understand that I’m a medical student who just finished the usmle and comlex but my experience was my own and what worked for me might not work for others. Since you’ve been taking NBMEs over the last month without improvement in your scores, I don’t think I’m the best person to give advice. Like I mentioned in my video, I found HyGuru to be very helpful for high yield content review and integration. If you have time for that, I’d highly recommend it. He helped me fill in a lot of knowledge gaps which is why my scores went up.

Amboss is truly an EXCELLENT tool. Although I highly recommend Uworld and it’s one of the most highly rated resources, it’s not absolutely necessary. You can definitely still learn so much and get great questions from amboss!
