The commisar on the ground is reminding me of the warrior priest in the intro cinematic of Warhammer: Mark of Chaos, due to similar motives; -Bald -Getting gut punched/kicked by an enemy hes locking weapons with -Reaching for his weapon while on the ground Plus they have similar facial features
There may be some power imbalance with kommandos being more squishy but it was cool to see imperial guard actually fight back pretty efficiently. Overall I like it
Kasrkin are equipped with hot-shot lasguns (or variations of it), it can reliably punch through carapace and power armour and will usually one-shot most uglies.
@@u-380 the animation team has no interest in kitbashing obviously 😂 A lot of the characters are made to look like the 40K model counterparts by the looks of it
Are ork kommandos that good in melee? They can beat cadians in 1 v 1 in melee? They're not even nobs Edit: yeah. Kommando are actually elite orks lmao. I looked them up
dude, the average ork boy would dog on several guardsmen in melee, not only are they larger, much MUCH stronger, far more resilient to damage, have a longer reach but they also know how to fight and arn't as slow as most people would believe. Even catachan jungle fighters who are some of the best guardsmen in the galaxy have a rule where three catachans fight every one ork due to how dangerous they are in melee. In most instances, it is said by guardsmen that if the orks get into melee range then the fight is over. DONT U BE UNDEREZTIMATIN UZ AGAIN PINK SKIN GIT!
Don’t think it’s escape my notice that this show always puts male characters in peril like a damsel and a female character always coming to their rescue and never the other way around.
She saved his ass because she had a plasma gun and common sense while the commissar charged a 7ft tall ork with a power claw. Don't act like this was some she hulk shenanigans this is simply common sense
To many female Guardsmen. If the Guard are chaff, then who's making new chaff??? I got bored of action porn when I was a teenager. I would really really love to see the human soldiers actually fighting together. And the Orks were too squishy. If they are making it into CC, then the guard are more or less fucked.
There was 2 female guardsmen They had to give up all their ammo, that was the whole plot for the episode. That's why they're fighting like that. Orks were dominating in melee except when outnumbered 5 to 1, or the Kasakrin using a power sword, or the extremely well trained Commissar

1:21 dam that that punch just broke all his rib bones. Even i felt that.

You forgot about being saved by elf who headshoot his execturioner.
I actually thought it was going to be a refrence to Bale just slashing that Ork's head off. But the twist is the Ork just gets 1 shot by a pistol.
The ork with the forage cap and power claw (thar crushes a guardsman's head) is the same as in one of the krieger killteam trailers!
That was dope!
The episode is definitely worth watching

I thought you need a boltgun to take out a green skin here...
They were using plasma guns and laz snipers (don't know the proper name for those). Guardsmen don't normally have that kind of stuff.
They were a mixture of guardsmen and Kasrkin hence why the weapon variations
lol no you can bring down greenskins with regular autoguns or lasguns.

Cadians?
Now that was totally fantastic to their actions!👍
It’s some of the best work so far on warhammer+
Arent these the same Orks as the one in the Kreig Cinematic? The one with the tri barrel rifle and the cap one?
Not sure, but those are also Kommando Boyz and Kommando Nob units.
They sre probably not the same, but they look the same.
I think they reused the models

I’m guessing that what the head squashing power klaw was meant to symbolise.
