Honestly this is such classic for me and so nostalgic I watch it right after thanksgiving to kick off my Christmas spirit. Seriously always put it on while I start decorating my Christmas tree. This was my first ever Christmas movie I was 6 when this came out and I have watched every Christmas since then without fail.
I have a ton of nostalgia for this movie so it still makes me laugh! Charlie is also just a ridiculously cute kid, he and Tim Allen are great together in this
this is my all time favorite movie. well, after it's a wonderful life of course lol i first saw this when i was like seven and i've seen it almost every christmas since. i just love it so much!
I was raised by my grandmother until I was 5. My parents would buy the gifts from Santa, and I was absolutely told that Santa doesn't need to wrap his gifts. He got what you asked for and it saved the elves some work.
I actually saw this in theaters as a double feature, playing alongside The Jungle Book, the live action 1994 version with Jason Scott Lee, which I absolutely love.
This is my all time favorite Christmas movie! It's so whimsical and ridiculous and fun. I watch it at least once every year. On the subject of only ever seeing "classic" toys in Santa's workshop, one of my earliest Christmas memories is getting one of those play kitchens and asking my grandma why it said "Playskool" on it if it was made by Santa's elves. 🤔
Eric Lloyd has acted in all of the Santa Clause sequels. He started his career as a child in the TV series "The Wonder Years" and his film debut was in "Heart and Soul" another interesting movie you might like. He has acted in several TV series as well as movies.
I actually just saw the kid again as a contestant on The Floor! This is one of my Christmas faves. I was 5 or 6 when it came out, and it really increased my belief for a while.
Benard did say that first year is a transition period and for him to get all his affairs in order, so now he's full time Santa moving to the North Pole.
I love these movies! I grew up with them, so they're pretty nostalgic for me. My favorite was the third one with Jack Frost. I'd love to see you guys react to the sequels, and maybe the first episode of The Santa Clauses if you can! Also, if you haven't seen it, there is a movie starring Michael Keaton called Jack Frost. Grew up with that one too. It's a good movie that will definitely have you crying at the end. I cry every time! Great video as always!
@ of course! i think you guys should look into it and see if you’re interested in watching it. it’s really good but like i said it will make you cry so make sure to bring the tissues!!
4:07 where did you get this version? I haven’t seen this one in a long time. The one on Disney+ and the dvd I have doesn’t have the mom giving Scott the phone number and him responding with the 800 number. I thought I imagined this version. 23:48 he was young Bruce Wayne in “Batman & Robin”, did some tv show episodes and some voice acting.
I learned a great deal listening to your reactions. Your dismissal of unrealistic elements was was labeled as a '90.s thing. I think it goes back much further than that -- since the dawn of creativity and imagination.. It's called suspending your disbelief, a necessary step when entering a fictional world. You need to imagine yourself immersed in that world and stop trying to tear apart what doesn't fit in your world. It's a movie. While there are posts that relate to our reality, it's still just a movie, a fun imaginary place and time that's not ours.
Thanks for sharing and watching with us! I completely agree-suspending disbelief is key to enjoying fiction. Even when we point things out, it’s all part of the fun for us, never meaning to take away from the magic :)
i was today yrs old when i realized that charlie was missing for like a month lmaoo. I havent seen this since i was young but yeh i just always had it in my head as him being gone for a night. Thats wild, i wouldve lost my mind by that point if i were the mom lmao
Thank you so much for this video! It brought back many happy memories and nostalgia! I guarantee you’d lovr love the sequels as well as the series! I’d also love to recommend Christmas With The Kranks starring Tim Allen and Jamie Lee Curtis. Eric Lloyd “Charlie” has appeared in the films Dustin Checks In, Batman and Robin, The Brave Little Toaster To The Rescue and The Little Brave Little Toaster Goes To Mars. 🎅🏻👦🏻🎄🎁🦌🍪🥛🥕❤️🤍💚💛
Thank you for watching with us and for the suggestion! Christmas With The Kranks is actually one of Phil’s top fave Christmas movies so he got me to watch it pretty early into our relationship, way before this channel started. If we watch it on the channel, it won’t be a blind reaction unfortunately - more of a review/commentary :)
@ that’s ok. It was one my dear mama’s favorite Christmas films; it’s her second heavenly Christmas. Another underrated one, I’d like to recommend is Dolly Patton’s Christmas in the Town Square starring Dolly Parton and Christine Baranski.
Since the card said he is Santa until either ‘accident or design’… I’m thinking that means he can hand it over to Charlie if he wanted to without having an accident to replace him. 🧐
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! We know it’s just a fantasy movie, but asking questions is simply how we connect with the story. Not heartless, just curious :) Happy Holidays!
Christmas Vacation is another Christmas movie classic that my family watches every year.
This and Scrooged my dad watches religiously
@ that’s another great one.

I love Tim Allen as Santa! Amazing! Very nostalgic!!! Let's go!!
He really snoots up the snow.
I was going to ask if it's a first time watch and learned it is for Erika. Awesome. I love this trilogy so hard I even like the series.
The 2nd one of the movies is my favorite😍😍😍

Definitely a classic!
The actor who played Bernard was also in " The Addams Family Values " movie when he was younger. He was a boy that Wednesday liked at summer camp.
He was also in Harold and Kumar go to white castle and 10 things I hate about yoy
The actor who was Bernard is David Krumoltz. He was also in 10 Things I hate about you and the show Numbers.
This is my absolute favorite Christmas movie of all-time.
I can see why :)
I was raised by my grandmother until I was 5. My parents would buy the gifts from Santa, and I was absolutely told that Santa doesn't need to wrap his gifts. He got what you asked for and it saved the elves some work.
This is one of my favorite Christmas movies, love this reaction! Third one isn’t too shabby either, Martin Short killed his role as Jack Frost. ❤️
Deers with velvet on the antlers is indeed seasonal thing, typically happens the early fall.
I actually saw this in theaters as a double feature, playing alongside The Jungle Book, the live action 1994 version with Jason Scott Lee, which I absolutely love.
wow...that's awesome!!! so cool!
These movies were my childhood ❤️

I had the same kind of thoughts about elves making these Mattel toys haha
Loreen McKennit's "Christmas Bells" was a beautiful addition to the film.
Great reaction 😊
My favourite film about Santa Claus is Miracle on 34th Street (1947).
Ouu, never seen this yet!

Many companies have in house culinary teams. With a cafe or even some have mutiple cafes and personal chefs for the higher ups as well.
Favorite Xmas 🎅 movie
fast see the 2 too! skipp the 3
:-) happy xmas

Childhood memories!
I love Erika’s Jordan Christmas sweater, I went searching online for one as soon as I saw it🤣
Haha thank you :)

If you look closely at the beginning where the children are looking at the toys through the window one of them is an elf
😮
They’re all hidden throughout the film. One is at the Dennys restaurant in the beginning.

Haha right?
This good movie 🎄
Please do Santa clause 2. It’s the best one. Although all 3 are really great!!
They live in Michigan, near Detroit, not Illinois. That is where Tim Allen is actually from.
Lol. The celery is for the reindeer
😅

Our santa gift was by our stocking
Wait until you see The Santa 🧑🎄 Clause 2
You'd never seen this? Wow! I loved this movie. I've never been fond of the Santa Claus thing, but for some reason I like this movie.
Since the card said he is Santa until either ‘accident or design’… I’m thinking that means he can hand it over to Charlie if he wanted to without having an accident to replace him. 🧐
Ahhh. Okay that makes more sense haha.
Will you be watching the sequels?
If there is enough demand, for sure.
You should react to number 2 next
Great reaction guys for Christmas movies you should also checkout Home Alone
Thank you :) We love Home Alone! Since we’ve both seen them, it won’t be a blind reaction. Maybe we’ll do a commentary at some point!
Charlue wasnt gone for weeks.
Santa can defeat Thanos.
Hi, you guys are great. Would it be possible to keep your faces on the screen? It's always awkward when they
disappear.
not going to spoil nothing but i wonder what happen to the decease santa 2nd half, black widow
👀👀
Good movie i just wish they did the ending differently
Haha fair. How would you end it?
Spoiler Alert: Charlie neglects the role of Santa as an Adult in The Santa Clause Sequel tv series "The Santa Clauses".
Watch I'll Be Home For Christmas
One of my favs! Unfortunately we both have seen it multiple times. If it does happen, it’ll be more of a commentary than a reaction.
its a fantasy movie why do question some scene its only a movie ok are u heartless u2
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! We know it’s just a fantasy movie, but asking questions is simply how we connect with the story. Not heartless, just curious :) Happy Holidays!
