Superbe interprétation. Elle l'a chanté une nouvelle fois en hommage à son oncle qui l'aimait tant. Pour celles et ceux qui ne comprendrais pas les paroles (ça reste mon interprétation). Il s'agit d'un homme qui est entrain de mourir et qui souhaite vivre. Les chevaux et le fouet représente le temps qui passe et le coeur qui s'emballe vers la mort. Il souhaite retenir le temps, retenir ses battements encore un peu, comme si le nombre de battements qu'il lui restait était compté. Tout personne touché par la mort d'un proche qui c'est vue mourir alors qu'il voulait vivre comprendra la douleur d'une tel chanson. Yes, this is one of my favorite from her. Up until today, this is the deepest song she ever sing -at least for me-, quite similar with "Song for A' for Angelina Jordan. A peak performance for interpretation.
