Why are Palestinians dependent on Israel for Water and electricity though? Don’t they get aid from the UN, the US and Arab countries. Don’t they border Egypt and other Arab countries where they could get electricity from. Or did they use all that aid to buy bombs and rockets. Prior to the formation of Israel how developed were these areas and how much electricity did they even have. I realize the Palestinians are likely depressed and traumatized but what exactly is stopping them from developing independence from Israel.

Vote Hamas out if it does not represent Palestinians. If you can't vote them out, there lays your problem, not just Israel. With all the energies to attack Israel, why not build better housing and roads to the people. Fatah supports a number of militant groups including al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades and there's well... Hamas. Fatah's banner is two arms holding weapons, al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades banner is 2 weapons over Al-Aqsa mosque, and Hamas is two guns on their banner. One controls basically the West Bank and other the Gaza Strip. Their ideologies are essentially the same and in fact they both really don't get along either. In this conflict it's the non-violent, pacifists, and those going about their everyday lives looking for a better tomorrow that are getting injured, hurt, and/or killed in Palestine (West Bank & Gaza Strip). Since the First Intifada it's either been Fatah or Hamas calling the shots. Palestinians keep bargaining with their livelihood and future. Elect these kinds of parties (really militant groups) with these types of ideologies and this will continue to happen.

She complains about no water. A friend of mine worked in Gaza installing a water piping station. He called the operators to see how it was going and they said the equipment was gone. Within days Hamas thugs came and dismantled the equipment. He told me that this was normal, the equipment would be sold to buy arms or just pocket the money. You see hospitals without fuel but Hamas has lots of fuel but they want their people to suffer. This just inflames the situation.
So really it is Hamas that is the problem and people push away from the truth.

Why are Palestinians dependent on Israel for Water and electricity though? Don’t they get aid from the UN, the US and Arab countries. Don’t they border Egypt and other Arab countries where they could get electricity from. Or did they use all that aid to buy bombs and rockets. Prior to the formation of Israel how developed were these areas and how much electricity did they even have. I realize the Palestinians are likely depressed and traumatized but what exactly is stopping them from developing independence from Israel.

Fatah supports a number of militant groups including al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades and there's well... Hamas. Fatah's banner is two arms holding weapons, al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades banner is 2 weapons over Al-Aqsa mosque, and Hamas is two guns on their banner. One controls basically the West Bank and other the Gaza Strip. Their ideologies are essentially the same and in fact they both really don't get along either.
In this conflict it's the non-violent, pacifists, and those going about their everyday lives looking for a better tomorrow that are getting injured, hurt, and/or killed in Palestine (West Bank & Gaza Strip). Since the First Intifada it's either been Fatah or Hamas calling the shots. Palestinians keep bargaining with their livelihood and future. Elect these kinds of parties (really militant groups) with these types of ideologies and this will continue to happen.

It's only natural that people choose the side of Israel because it's a sovereign nation, because theres a large Jewish American population, and the Palestinians are looked at as Hamas. In order to understand what happened, you have to do your homework on Israel. Arabs have been in that region for a very long time. Throughout the years, they have gradually been pushed in the area they're in now of 25 miles with 2 million people there. That in itself should say something. Living conditions can't be good, basic living can not be good there. They were placed in an area in which Isreal would like to forget about them in. By no means am I condoning the actions of Hamas because they actually are the reason their people are suffering at this very moment. Hamas may represent the Palestinians in Gaza but it's not fair to think every Palestinian supports Hamas and their actions. On both sides, there have been generational hate for one another based off things that happened during the time Israel became a sovereign nation. All of this will only breed more hate. Babies will grow up to hate the other country. The Palestinians should've had their own sovereign state a long long time ago, jus like Israel, and not a 25 mile strip of land. It's sad to see the destruction taking place. My prayers for both countries and the people who are suffering losses. I don't care what God you serve, this is not his way. ❤️🙏
true, to a point, but wars and political decisions have consequences. The 1948 partition was accepted by the israelis and rejected by the arabs. they started a war and lost it. Jordan annexed the territory designated for the palestinians and egypt annexed gaza. There was no movement to create a palestinian state by either arab nation. Israel took control after the 1967 war. the real world does not have "do-overs"
Let's not forget that Palestine started it up again and let's also not forget the Palestinian Government if u can call it that is giving the go ahead to Hamas which is acting as an army for the state in a sense and thus the "government" is actively contributing to the war atrocities Hamas is committing so keep that in mind when you speak of the Israeli government, which also happends to be the government that is supplying water and electricity to the state of Palestine which they are under no obligation to do
Forcing citizens out of GAZA by cutting off utilities will save lives given the necessity of routing out Hamas.Civilians should be provided resources after they leave GAZA
