I remember having read about that at some point last year, after that perfect game he threw in NPB; as a man from America's Midwest, I cannot truly comprehend the horror Sasaki went through 12 years ago. 😢 That said, for him to become to be the best pitcher right now outside the Major Leagues, not to mention that he got the win today (despite a slow start), is a testament to the human spirit. 💪🏻
