What does flip stance do?
Flip stance makes every character swap which way they are facing. For instance if Manta's right foot is in front he will switch his body and put his left foot in front.
Edited: after playing him myself today.. i can say that he has alot of potential with the float and instant air torpedo. 21 bf1 builds 1/2 bar of meter on block :-o can't wait for optimization.

ppayton1989 yah but doing a d2 scales the combo and I used it almost in every combo do optimize the combo you can't do the d2
D2 and his trait nerf the damage. But if your going to play Black Manta and you don't use his float in combos. Then you should delete the game lol...Manta is mean to swag on your opponent...he can easily get 430 damage for 1 bar wth no float or d2

Cameron Dennis yah I figured them out and I'm pretty sure plus but idk how by how much because the rockets come down as a meaty on wake up so as long as they hold the rockets you should be good

people who say his damage is weak have not played the character or seen him being played by a good player
black manta has so many tricks and ways to catch you and counter everything you do, if he had high damage too he would be broken beyond belief
kind of like red hood, except with more mixups and less zoning
jzeus lol yah I thought his damage is pretty solid especially since I usually play maps with interactable bounces so they add extra damage

You can J.2 into Rocket Back 2 JetPack into 2 Rocket cancel JetPack n combo. Trust me it works. You can even start with Back2 into Jetpack Air2 into Rocket cancel can only br done twice tho.

I'm really enjoying Manta so far, but I wish he had a jump attack with a little bigger hit box. His jump 3 is cool and all, but I don't think any of them mix up. I've only played him for like half an hour though, so I'm probably talking out of my ass.
