People have the right to change there minds if they see a better fit. I remember a time blacks couldn't play in a PWI. The NFL drafted so many black players from HBCUs that PWI had to stand up and take notice, but not once did we cry about PWI taking our players. So I say don't cry it's not your party.

Especially when sponsorship starts to invest in supporting HBCUs on a grand level. For all these years schools....coaches made money off the backs of these players. Now Deion has started something.

    Saban is a real one. He focused on his business and his program. If you attempt to get him to indulge in what others are doing he shuts it down quick and easy. He also protects his players. Gotta love this man.

    In a short time Deion has done a lot for the program at Jackson State. He has taken ownership of it and should have been Coach of the year. He will get many great recruits because he is the best cornerback and return man of all time.

    Best coach in college hands down. Look at how well he treats and develops young men. That is man who wants to see young men grow and be the great everywhere they go and with everything they do.       @@dallashenderson774 Exactly. Deion Sanders is proof that regardless of the school, great leadership is key to any successful program. I have watched several videos of his locker room conversations with these kids. Much like Saban, he is VERY relatable, he shows and gives respect, and he is a motivator with a proven track record of success on and off the field. It is no coincidence that Aflac is using Nick and Deion in their commercials.
      Deion is on the radar of several PWU. He doesn't need the money, so I just hope he stays at JSU or any other HBCU where he can really make a difference in the schools and their athletic programs.

    😂😂Prior to the mid 60's the best athletes were attending HBCU's!! The only reason the NCAA "integrated" was to LOCK DOWN THE MARKET SHARES..😂😂The NFL/AFL NBA/ABA mergers happened because the AFL was taking market shares from the NFL as fans were flocking to teams like the San Diego Chargers who were considered "more exciting" and whose rosters were loaded with HBCU players just as the NFC had just lifted it's QUOTA OF 6 BLACK PLAYERS PER TEAM.

    NICK SABAN whether you like him or not this man is a great coach, Im a VOL fan but i recognize that coach is maybe the best to ever coach in college football, I appreciate that he does not go on personal attacks against other programs or other coaches, He has no need to do that he has nothing to prove to anyone his coaching record at ALABAMA says all that need to be said, I do hope someday in the distant future maybe my VOLS will beat them at least once. ROLL TIDE and GO VOLS.

      Well spoken Fred. As a Tide fan I can say we have been very lucky to have him as a coach. Without the consistency of his process, we would be nowhere close to where we are now. About the Vols beating Bama..... I still have nightmares about Peyton Manning to this day lol.

    Well when Alabama gets numerous 5 star athletes maybe the kid knew he wouldn’t start and wanted to play right away. Plus having Deon as a coach was a bonus in his decision.

      Have you seen this kid play? There is no way he would not be on the field day 1. He might not get the immediate start. But there is absolutely no way he does not get immediate playing time even at Bama. This kid is on Julio Jones level athletically.

      @@RELopez-mk4ic Not what NFL corners are paid to do in NFL. Rules are built for the receiver. To have a corner shutdown one half of the field is what NFL coaches want. In the 50s and 60s, corners needed to tackle. It is the least important thing required of a corner now.

    These young players' fathers, uncles, little league and high school coaches who have these players' ears came of age watching Deion Sanders high steppin as a top tier multi-sport professional athlete who was full of personality and "swag" that they related to. This makes it that much easier for Coach Sanders to draw high interest from many deciding on which college to sign with....and for Coach Sanders to also show that he can put a winning coaching staff and product on the field make him even more credible.

      @@kevinhunt1202 -SMH 1.) Prime has a higher name recognition than 99.9% of the current players in the league even 16 years into retirement. To be specific Brady is the only one at his level and Mahomes is the only one creeping in. If you actually watched the NFL network and saw how all the young guys would get excited speaking to him Primes popularity amongst young athletes wouldn't be questioned. 2.) Prime has been heavily involved assisting players (& families) behind the scenes from the prep level to active NFL players for an extremely long time. That's why guys who knew that, like Trent Dilfer for ex., were saying he's tapped into the network and would do some damage while most in the sporting press were having a chuckle over him campaigning for the FSU job a few years back. 3.) If you're not sickened by the fact that black players make up the majority of athletes at the FBS level, make up 80-85% of the two deep in the P-5 and there being only 14 black HC's out of 129/30 FBS programs, but are upset over this then shame on you. By the way if it were just about race or being a HOF'er Eddie George would be making a similar splash and he's not even close.
