i'm doing aeronautical engineering at usyd. its definitely tough but i absolutely love aircraft and wouldn't want to do anything else. thanks for making this video 🙂
Welcome aboard mate. Dunno if you are an Australian permanent resident or not, but if you ain't one, then the chances of you getting your career started in this field would be minimal. I graduated in late 2017 and spent good two years to get my permanent residency sorted. And now I am officially starting looking for a job in my field of study. And who's teaching you CATIA now btw? Is it that Malaysian dude called Pang or something? Anyway time flies in uni man. Seize the moment.
Thanks man, It's good to be on this journey. I am an Australian citizen but I didn't know it was harder for non residents to get jobs here. The cad teachers change around alotttt and I never went to the lectures soooo... 🤷♂️. I'll make sure to enjoy it for sure. Good luck with everything my man 😊
The first 2 years of aerospace engineering at rmit is in the city campus and the next 2 years is in the Bundoora campus. Rmit doesn't have a campus in Clayton, that's Monash
Hey bro check out the course brochure for aerospace and do all the subjects in the first row. This also depends on that subjects they run. The course has changed a bit since I did it, else I'd tell you exactly what to do. But the course brochure is the best bet. Good luck my dude
Introduction to Aircraft is a introduction to everything you will be studying in the aerospace degree. It also talk about the business aspects of Aircraft, airline and airports. Really enjoyable course.
Im an Indian 5'6 year 12 student I feel like When i come to Australia in Feb next year for uni people would look at me thinking that I am still studying in school😂😂
I'm not too sure because I do business management, but I feel like marketing at RMIT and Deakin are the quite similar. The only different being that RMIT is known for its industry connections which will help you to find internships and job placements.
I really don’t no anymore which course to do. The atar for Mechanical Engineering and Biotechnology at RMIT is “not published” and engineering and law at Monash is 98. Idek if I want to do engineering anymore
Hi Kunj, Hope you are doing great! Your videos are awesome..My brother got an offer from Adelide, RMIT and The University of Queensland for MS in Mechanical Engineering. He is confused which one to opt, could you plz help to know how is RMIT for MS in mechanical????? Thanks in advance
Hi Shweta, thanks for liking our videos! I don’t really know anyone doing MS in mechanical or MS in general at RMIT, but I assume RMIT is good for that because it’s well known for engineering. They have pretty good industry connection which can help with getting a good internship/graduate roles. Hope that helps! Don’t forget to subscribe if you haven’t already :)
They're both really good for engineering but I think RMIT has better industry connections. Since you're international student you should also look at the locations, RMIT is in the city while Monash is around 20 mins away from the city.
Hey Kunj awesome content. I have got an offer letter for masters in aerospace at RMIT as well as Adelaide and Data Science in La Trobe. I'm an Indian, will it be hard for me to find good jobs in aerospace industry? Should I go for the later
Im a local student so I don't know alot about the international student experience. However there are plenty of spaces at RMIT for international students and the RMIT admission staff are really helpful. In my opinion it would be easier for international students to get into RMIT than local students.
I would say that it’s not that hard to get into RMIT . It depends on what you’re taking, and what level/certificates you have. I entered with only a year of foundation studies , so yeah..
RMIT is great for internships in general but not too sure about data science. I assume it’s job prospective is really good in Australia but you should only do it if u truly love data analytics and coding.
Do you mean further maths the year 12 subject? The prerequisite is methods from the course. I would go as far to say that they should make specialist maths a prerequisite too.
Congrats man, nice work 😊 😊. First semester subjects give you all the basic engineering knowledge U need for the rest of your engineering life. So U learn all the basic maths you need, mechanics and the basics of aircraft
There isn't a crazy amount of jobs but it's decent. The Boeing factory is Australia manufactures portions of the Boeing 787 wings there's job opportunities there. There's always airlines who employ line maintenance engineers to oversee maintaince. And there's always the airforce.
@@KunjDaveProductions hey man do you think, you could help me with the enrolment part and also is there any student loans who could help students who are private residents but not a citizens.
My man, I would love to help you. But the best people for that job is RMIT CONNECT which is a free service that helps with all this. There's located in the city campus at building 10 level 4. They'll help you with everything to do with loans and enrolments.
hi i really wanna take aerospace engineering, not that i'm intimated or something, but it's a really male dominated field and im curious if there are female course takers?
Thanks Ravi, in terms of getting a good job it is tough and to be able to earn your fees which is double or triple the amount for international students is even harder while studying. However, I am sure many people would have done that and so it isn’t all impossible.

@@selm271 If you meet the entry requirements and apply as soon as applications are open then its not that hard.
That's so true, barely any info can be found on Australian Uni life, thanks for making this one!
Also, do you eat at all haha?
Great video man! I have some inquiries about aerospace engineering and RMIT. Is there any way I could get in touch with you?
thanks man. I also able to join RMIT in feb intake for aerospace engineering. This was so helpful for me to get an idea about RMIT.
Good Luck with everything this year bro 😊

I just finished my bachelor degrees in Aerospace Engineering at RMIT. I know it will be harder and harder in the following years. Good luck!
Thanks buddy. Good luck out in the field 👌
Is it really that difficult to study aerospace
No it will not be difficult altogether with a strong vision in physics, chemistry and technology. Good luck! 👍
hey, i would to ask, is it tough to score the exams there?
How hard it is, do u still have notes and books I’m currently studying it
sup man idk if you'll see this but do you reckon doing the engineering degree alongside with business management is worth it? Cheers
Thank you so much for this kunj.Which is university is better Monash or RMIT..?
Thanks for the supports bro. Check the other comments to this video I've answered this question in depth a few times before.

I'm planning to join rmit after my boards this year thanks for this it was pretty helpful .
Thanks thanks 😊 😊. Good luck on ur studies at rmit
for aerospace engineering for an IB student, what are the required grade points?
From what I heard from friends it's about 25 but just to be safe check with the RMIT. Shoot them a quick email and you'll be all set.

Bro how many rmit aerospace engineering students were there?
Is that RMIT in Clayton? Cos I looked at RMIT’s website for aerospace engineering and the only option was the campus in Bundoora.

If i apply for second sem, will i be at a disadvantage with the stuff i missed in the first sem?
Not really. RMIT offer most first sem subjects in the second sem as all. So U won't be missing anything.
Hey what subject should i enrol in 1st semester for aerospace engineering.
