I have a telescope designed for Astronomy.Sometimes it is entertaining to watch the crew on a ship 30 miles away far out on the horizon.Steady air required!
@@DreamingPhenom It just takes elevation. From the Hill of Howth (only 560 feet high) in Dublin City in Ireland there are beautiful photos of Mount Snowden in Britain 140 Km (87 miles) away across the Irish Sea. Google it!.
It's the low humidity. If there's high humidity on a hot day, the rising air from the ground would make distant objects appear "wavy". This is also how an "oasis mirage" occurs because it looks like there's puddle on the ground on a hot humid day.

Schon geil. Wir standen auch vor der Frage ob teures Teleobjektv für die Vollformatkamera mitnehmen, oder so eine Kamera kaufen. In Namibia hat sie uns gute Dienste geleistet, wir habe das auch kurz auf unserem Kanal dokumentiert.
why is so blurred, it was digital zoom too? edit. or it was out of focus, manual focus works better? also, the sound was 'zoomed' too? or it was the sound from immediate surroundings? thank you for answers.
Mann Hamma The mode was automatic. If you have trouble to focus. First zoom to the object. Focus the object, go back on wide and record. Then zoom to the object. Most times it works perfect.
Why pretty much in every video of the powerful zoom of the P900 everyone uses digital zoom? That's dumb! Optical zoom "only" goes to 0:30 or even before that!

I think it was from the air and not the digital zoom. I dont use it. The sound was from the people arround me.
