- Ignore the fact my pants are unbottoned in the beginning I was in the middle of trying on the dress when I realized this would make a good video so I threw all my clothes back on halfhazardly and VOILA XD
This is absolutely bananas! A VINTAGE JCPENNEY WEDDINGDRESS JUST BEGGIJG TO BE BOUGHT! And when I tell you that all of my wedding dress inspiration pictures look EXACTLY like this dress, I mean it. This is absolutely gorgeous and I am beside myself with joy and exhilaration.
Twenty Dollars. Yes. 20 DOLLARS! I'm budgeting between 2 to 300 dollars for alterations, but I am still getting a wedding dress for absolutely DIRT CHEAP! I am so happy this happened, it is literally exactly how I envisioned finding my dress. I had dreams just like this day, where I'm at a thrift store for fun and just happen upon the dress made for me. Maybe they were premonitions, who knows? Or potentially positive manifestation! all I know is I found it, and more than a year before our potential date!
I plan to make a video series about getting this altered if possible, to make it my absolute perfect fantasy.

I think the cap looks beautiful on the veil, but if you are going to remove the fabric crown and rework the tulle (netting part) don’t throw away anything! Especially with refurbishing the dress, there’s places you can use the extra crystal’s & pearls from the fabric crown. And if you decide to stay with the fabric crown on the veil, you can always just bring in a new color that will look vintage as long as it’s done all the same and not overdone. (For example, a pale ecru/pink or whatever just focus on the fabric). Many people redo these designs and remove the puffed sleeves right away. I’m sure a tank-style top would be beautiful, but I am from that time and I think it’s gorgeous with the puffed sleeves! But you love the dress and you light up when you put it on so I don’t see any possible way you could mess it up unless you don’t wear it! Even if it’s not that stained-see a dry cleaner and they might be able to help you! You made a great choice! The good Lord was smiling down on you with this one and your ring is beautiful! I can’t tell if it’s black stone or a green Moldavite or ? Love it!
Oh & I had a sorta hat/veil combo & I bought it from JC Penney bridal, 1989!

I was wondering how she was standing when she was in the wheelchair she was using a cane
I have a condition called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome which causes mobility issues. I am an ambulatory wheelchair user meaning some days I need it, others I don't. It all varies day to day
